The man giving the naration to the motorcycle part was called Ted Lambert. who owned a motor cycle and car dealership at the time, called Horsmans'. He was very keen on road safety, and made quite a few films. I worked for him for awhile, and he was a very good man...

@@michaelgaskell7408 They had various branches, but the principle ones were at Renshaw street, and Pembroke place.

@@hhoward14 Hello Mr Howard, Thank you very much for replying to my message, and sincere apologies for the delay in responding.I knew the name Horsmans as soon as l saw it,but couldn't place where they where located,Thank you! I wanted to be a motor mechanic when I left school, and can recall going into Voss Motors in Hanover St, to ask if they had any jobs going!,do you recall Voss's? I can't recall what they told me,but I never started for them.I tried quite a few places in Liverpool, would you believe walking from one to the other,l was offered an apprenticeship with somebody,(l can't for the life of me recall who,)as a Auto Electrician, but me Da put the blocks on it,saying it was too far to go.Your words on Mr Lambert and his concern for road safety, made me think what Mr Lambert would think of today's attitude to driving safety, esp' parking on pavements, which I can't stand.Regards,Mick.
