There's a couple here in Australia where I live that have my dream tiny off-grid home here's a video of it kzread.info/dash/bejne/ameq3NFrepOfhrA.html and here's their facebook page where they show updates on projects they are doing and how they're choice of lifestyle works out with the different seasons. I could see you guys in this place near a lake with a few rescue pups, a nice garden full of fresh veges. Maybe build a little cottage addition so nieces and nephews can stay during the holidays and challenge Uncle Eamon and Aunty Bec to the mantle of Masterpiece champion.

Retired early to quit paying $15,000 a year in taxes. But now at age 61 paying half or my retirement income for health insurance. Living in condo on beautiful location near Miami on ocean, but just enough money to pay HOA, insurance and groceries. Tutoring 8 hours a week for extra money as all savings in mutual funds. So hoping to save enough to travel to Blue Ridge to camp or to Maine to camp. At least we have a pool and the ocean to swim and medical insurance covered my wife's $300,000 chemo and radiation and hospital bill. Wife is doing great. She was never sick in her life until last fall. I love this life here but miss my birth home in northern Alberta and miss my summer trips to Maine to camp. But I see my grandkids a lot, so living in our 900 sq ft condo is not bad. Just yearn for some road time and some camping time. It will come with more saving. Hope this gives you two some perspective.

The cottage is gorgeous! I would call it quite a slice of heaven, the water, nature and just beautiful all around. The thought of life progression has lead me to think that when I am a bit more ready to settle down, that I'd do a tiny house, but on a trailer that can be moved occasionally, having a few pieces of land, one nearer a city, one more secluded, etc. But either way I know that the E&B team (soon to add a furbaby?) will figure everything out as the times come. In the meantime enjoy the moment, you have plenty of positive energy coming your way! All the good vibes

Yes by the water and a place that actually has four seasons....four real seasons like a winter with snow and a Autumn where all the leaves turn beautiful colors and a summer where you can swim and get a tan. A spring where you can see nature renewed with baby rabbits and birds and deer etc. I can think of no better place than the blue ridge mountains. btw if Eamon is farting that much he is eating to much fiber.

You guys are awesome !! I have been watching you since the beginning of your adventure. You are young, wild, and free. I love how his farts don’t bother you and you laugh about inhaling them all night. I love that you even pick his nose from time to time....or was it the other way around. Not sure 🤔....I love that you talk a out not taking showers for days at a time and you still hang all over each other. I love how one of you cooks and the other just eats it good or not. Its so lovely to see this it’s truly beautiful and a love that will last. I remember those days with my hubby although we never lived in a van a tiny house more like it.......ok.....fast forward 3 kids and 4 dogs later in a 3,0000 square foot 🏠 house. The house it huge and he still manages to fart in the same room I am. When I see him picking his nose..I yell at him that’s disgusting in front of whoever is there. When I cook dinner and he doesn’t like it he is sure to make a comment. What happened to the beginning the love that moved mountains?? It’s there we just have to work hard 😓 to find it. With that said .....whatever your future is and whatever you decide to do we can all see you love and care for each other deeply and that is hard to come by no matter where you live. I wish you the best and keep making vlogs you will go far !!

You made me tear up. I just posted a old pic on facebook of my parents who are both gone and my daughter years ago at their Pismo Beach vacation trailer. We have so many great memories from that trailer. I bought one last year and have been sharing it with family. My daughter and son-in-law are 3 months PG with a baby girl and it brought back all those memories. And when you said the cabin was your favorite place in the world I totally understand. I have traveled a lot in my life and some people don't understand why I want to spend my travel money these days on a stationary adventure but sharing it with family tops any place I've ever visited on my own. Thanks!

It is SO cool that in only 2 short years, you spoke this into existence!! 🙌 Super stoked for both of you! I recently binge watched almost every video and have gone back and liked the ones that I may have forgotten to like the first go around! ✔️ I can't wait until y'all start posting again, but just remember, we're not going anywhere and you two need to grieve the loss of Lee and we get that! Take ALL the time you need and we'll be waiting for you both, with open arms! As much as covid sucked for us all, now more than ever, I've really been feeling #EHFAR 🥰 And I want to thank you for giving me such great content to watch (I've been in and out of hospital the last few years) as just watching your videos, even when I'm stuck in a hospital bed, makes me TRULY appreciate everything I have and how wonderful life is! A saying my Pops told me when I first got sick (about 18 years ago) is "It's not about the hand you're dealt, but how you play the cards"! And you two, DEFINITELY know how to play your hand! 🖤 Love from Barrie 🇨🇦 #speakupforlee 🕊🙏💛🚌

You guys continue to have real, personal, and fun videos. I knew a guy who preferred to live in the city and work in the country, so he was a state park ranger, and he spent his whole day outdoors. When he was ready to go home, he could stop off at the store and then he and his family could go out for a nice dinner or a show and get home early, to a nice warm comfy home. For you guys, your work will dictate some of it. You would likely continue to travel and promote your business through road trips. I see you guys doing something like taking a tiny house on wheels out for the weekends into the cities, into empty parking lots or wherever else Canadian law allows you, to raise awareness of the business. I do not mean to sell, but I am sure that you still have to have permits, even if you are giving samples away. I see something like that for you guys, side by side with an off-grid house. I also still stand by the idea that concrete structures are hella smart, and if you cover one in vinyl siding (vapor barriers course), no one can tell it is even concrete. My 5 cents' worth, but hey, you asked.

I can totally relate! 5-10 years ago, my goal was not to end up having an off grid sustainable home but that’s all I dream of now and that’s my partner and I’s plan for the future. We want our own land, an off grid eco + sustainable home made from shipping containers, epic organic gardens, a greenhouse, close to water, a well, collecting rain water and just living super simply and connected with nature 💛 I struggle with the same dilemma of wanting this for myself and not wanting to be so far away from good friends and family. I think my max would be 3 hours away haha

Plus, we love hosting people which would make that more difficult. We just moved to Mexico so who knows when we'll have that, if ever! But we're enjoying being in the city for now. More great content! You guys hit a lot of important concepts. Life is about trade offs. My friend in Wilmington, NC is in the process of replacing his flooring out of pocket. This is why I like the inland and the mountains. Wilmington is a place of beauty and warmth, but Mother Nature is so unpredictable. I’ve moved into a maxi-pad mostly for my family’s needs. We went to a tiny house festival yesterday. My heart dreams of a portable mini spot but I’m out voted. I still believe in all of the thing you guys mentioned about renewability. flatulence is typically from eating foods we r sensitive to. It can be difficult to determine which foods we r sensitive to because symptoms r mild and unlike actual allergic reactions, delayed. Often not experienced until the next day. I have several food sensitivities; peanuts, dairy, gluten, and sugar r the major ones. They all can give me gas, but not always, except for peanuts. Always with peanuts. Food sensitivities cause many other annoying and uncomfortable symptoms for me too, enough so that I try to avoid those foods always. Dang! PB and chocolate r so good and so much cheaper than almond butter. It can be hard at times! Though it is so nice not to have smelly farts anymore. :)

It's a fun idea, I think, to ponder. Far more fun maybe coming from a nomadic place, if that makes sense, though we're not out there yet. LOL (Soon! Bus arrives less than 2 weeks!) I'm not sure where you want to be but I'm happy to share my thoughts for myself and my children after, or during as just an "always there/home away from road home". I want a cottage, cozy style skoolie as is and would want similar once we have land. I've looked into Aircrete dome structures which I absolutely adore, if you've seen any. That's after looking at earth ships, cottages made from materials found within the natural setting, tiny homes, lots of different modular homes etc. I'd love to create a -ugh! The term is escaping me right now! A place where my family has its own little village. A COMPOUND (such an awful sounding word 😳) Where either everyone has their own small dwelling or we create something bigger with shared and private quarters (probably individual dwellings) with horses and dogs (my girls' 2 favorite animals), a big garden...a homestead of sorts where, if they want, the kids can always stay or vacation or hide away from society. Or not. Their decision. But the fact that it's there, similar to your aunt's cottage... We'd also like to incorporate giving to others with our land whether that be equine or canine therapy or housing people in particular need, giving them a physical and spiritual place they, too, can call one of their homes... NOT...A CULT. LOL. And not a hippie retreat or anything, not that there is anything wrong with hippies or hippie retreats. 😁 Just... HOME. Where the truest of the self can reside in confidence and peace just like what you feel at the cottage. ❤️ It would be wonderful, if I'm pondering the two of you in particular, to see you maybe somewhere on the East coast, remote but close enough to a city? And maybe the two of you open up that vegan restaurant outside of the city, or a tea shop. Something and somewhere that your spirit breaths deep walking into and thrives on sharing with others. -Also... LMAO... Crossing a line here but, what's with Eamon's gut health?? Get that checked, sweet man. 😅 Keep that gut super healthy, none, umm, offensive, though it's not the offensiveness that I'm pointing at other than, if that's common, it's worth looking into since we're mostly biomes with our consciousness taking a ride atop. We want healthy happy biome 🌸 Nothing you don't know, I'm sure. -Stay well and blessed and Abundant and joyous, sweet people. Thank you so very much for your content.

Instead of just hosting me I go involved in everyday care. 3 days of yard work every week. They loved it but I am a city boy and it was work. Frozen pipes in winter. Trapped by snow all winter. Clearing snow and just trying to survive. They made it magical in summer. Rest of year sucked but they were old school and could do it. 1 hour to groceries or hospital. Not for me. But I get it. You don,t seem like the wilderness type. Your cosmopolitan all is good. Enjoy the magic. .

Wow - having a small cabin on the lake AND a new 170 totally built van is my suggestion! My list just changed to adopt this new strategy. :) Also, anywhere along the west coast from Santa Barbara northward into Canada is some of the best land, climate, and nice people. Land available on lakes too. I've been looking

32 years ago my husband and I moved from Sacramento California to a tiny town population 39. NOT hundred or thousands just 39 people called Clayton Idaho. We bought 4.6 acres on the East Fork of the Salmon River and built a small log cabin just him and I and one of his friends. Now I am living in another town of 160 people. HA moving up but not too far. Honestly we never looked back. I only went back to CA a couple of times to visit my Mom before she died. And only could handle staying a few days each time. It has been over 20 years since I have been back. BUT I an not into restaurant eating or city life so I would never miss it and I can say a track record of 32 years for me living this way will probably not change.

I first want to say, I look forward to your videos in the evening before bed. It's like your my ritual. 😄 You guys have the best personalities like your my favorite of all the people I watch. I see you both being able to have the best of both lives. Ban life and a pad. It's really a good balance to have both. It's a matter of finding the right spot for a decent distance to get to the city. People do it all the time. The ride into the city is good mental prep time. One day your tea business will be large enough where you will have others doing more for you and all you two will have to do is meet and greet perspective business owners. I totally see that. I see go with the flow but also keep your eyes out for property. You will know what to do. Your chi is strong grasshoppers. ✌ Enjoy each day as it comes. Bye to Bruce he was a good boy but it's see children in your near future not a dog. Just saying✌

The long term or permanent van life thing isn't for everyone. That's all. Still, that shouldn't put anyone off to have a go. One will learn a lot about himself and reality, great adventure too. I've never considered van life as such, but a mobile (MTB) breakout base for short and extended weekends. I'm dreaming of both - an off grid by the water project is my thing too. I'm from Poland, living here and what I observe is that we're all alike, have same needs and fascinations. Good luck to you.
