Microsoft takes only 2 rounds after OA in IITs. Even if you do excellent in first round, no company would directly take you to last round. every candidate has to go through all rounds. Off campus drive is much more tough than on campus.

Thank you Prateek it was a wonderful interaction. Few points I missed in video Monthly Stipend during M.Tech was another big reason for choosing M.Tech over other master program. It is sufficient to pay for your entire M.Tech fees and personal expenses. Lets you stay independent. M.Tech will also provide a project on which you will be working for M.Tech thesis. Please don't leave your existing job without analysing your situation. I had no dependents on my income and was confident about my minimum Gate result that's why could take that step. My opinions are based on Gate 2020. Most of the things will be same but something might have changed a bit. Please analyse current scenario.

Bhai mechanical se hi gate do Plus programming karte raho Side by side during your gate preparation Gate mechanical se u can apply for psu jobs and if u go for mtech still u can get high package there u just need to be good at programming that’s it..
