    The lack of dates for the events makes this look more hectic than it really is, most of the events are so old that they already have multiple songs about them . Organized crime really is organized and most of their actions were strategic or reactionary. When it comes to mexican police they're a joke. I think its about 4 out of 10 are corrupt. It's so bad that the Federales have arrested entire police departments.

  • @kjrom

    @kjrom

    3 жыл бұрын

    The federales don't exist anymore, they were disbanded for corruption. It is the army and the state police who have arrested entire police departments. The police is a joke but it is also kind of understandable, the government is to blame for their corruption. Most police officers actually want to do their job, but they recieve no training, the day they sign up they are already out patrolling, and they only receive a rifle and 30 rounds. Their salary is super low so there aren't many policemen, so in practice you constantly find that there are 3 policeman in a municipality with old guns and 30 rounds each against a convoy of 14 trucks full of sicarios with big weapons and ammo to spare. Of course they have two options, try to fight back and obviously die, be tortured and probably have their families tortured as well. Or simply shut up and let them do their thing, and do what they say if they ask. It does not justify their corruption, but makes it understandable.

    You overestimate the CIAs power, just like people overestimate the power of the cartels. The CIA has less than 60,000 people working for them, most don't have anything to do with the cartels. The drug cartels have less than 100,000 people working for them per cartel, many die within years due to infighting, fighting with military or other cartels. They aren't nearly as invincible as people think, and leadership changes every 6 years or so because of arrests or death. Take a look at how many have been killed or arrested just within the last 10 years.

    that's rough and unlucky, it is not common in Mexico for normal civilians to be killed. Sadly it also happens in the USA, three far familiy members died in a shooting there, I didn't know them but heard my cousins talking about it in one family reunion.

    Yet they’re still losing battles left and right, it took Cjng so long to get rid of Marro and he still has yet to take control of it without problems. Fighting all these battles on different fronts and getting a worse rep every day amongst the people, it’s only a matter of time before that rule is done. Even then Sinaloa is having a civil war and still dominant. Mencho isn’t too solid at controlling the expanded territory. Brutality Ofc he wins that by a long shot Bc their moral codes are limited to none. Heavy guns and they lose quite often.
