They're not but the winds on the lake of new babbage can lift a person so place gust of wind while the pitching of the ship was not fully centred and still moving down at the nose somehow combined at the right time! giving it the perfect motion and tilted center of gravity combined with the wind hitting the ship in all the right places it acted with similar physics to a car or boat fliping due to drag when moving forward at high speed the tilt assists the air pushing it into a flip because 1. it's no longer as streamlined and is a wider surface causing more force of the air to be pushed against instead of slipping past! lastly it's center of gravity has changed if something hits a plane wing hard enough and the wing is strong enough to not snap it can cause the plane to roll! similarly the same physics apply to the front and bacl of the ship the ground stops the ship from flipping because it's in the way but if enough gets in the way to lift the ship it will flip it! and the developers did say that in atmosphere now you can feel the affects of wind and drag now while flying it's why flight mechanics in atmos feel different! star engine will be taking that to microsoft flight simulator level in the future but no worry keep in mind these are space ships with inertial dampeners or we wouldn't be able to survive quantum and would be a bloodstain on that nice carrack vista like windows! so imagine maybe theres some component there that could be looked at I doubt they'll be interchangeable but what it means is despite mass some ships will likely be able to handle better in the wind! I remember when they was testing the winds on one of micro's moons trying to land there my freelancer got flipped! so keep all this in mind micro is a windy place hiding behind most of the buildings in micro wont help either some areas give warning about landing there and well most aren't solid anyways so they wont give you wind or snow protection if your on foot! now the carrack being much larger it wont happen nearly as often due to that and the power of it's thrusters but in this case the physics just all perfectly lined up for it! it's also possible opening the carrack hangar door could of effected it's aerodynamics giving it that final push into a flip!

I legitimately didn't think the Carrack's dorsal thrusters were strong enough to flip the ship like that. Good flying!

Traversing the Carrack to get to the Bridge while it was upside down was probably a whole video of its own no ? I nightmare I bet LOL

its not so bad actually - the ship was fully functional so the gravity generator still works. being in an upside down ship basically behaves like normal (as in you are pulled towards the floor of the ship rather than the floor of the planet) so long as the ship isnt soft dead :)

Rando trying to board being one of the reasons I load snubs out in the boonies 😂 And I've always wanted to be a part of a Fury Swarm.

This series is beginning to be like the Star Trek Movies where they destroy the Enterprise with each new film! You're changing chips more often then your socks!

Sometimes I like to lay on the floor and pretend I'm a carrot.

I wish you took C2 with you filled with fury's :) 10-15 can fit on board - depend on how tight you can land :)

Once the side doors work the carrack can carry *so many* furies, it'll be a great snub carrier for single system ops. For exploration I expect a bunch of the cargo space is needed for supplies.

weve been using the 890 as a carrier but the 890 is super glitchy sometimes, but love the video

Solo loading the Pisces onto the Carrack, I like to land it on the doors. Then enter the ship and open the doors. It drops right in with minimal sparks :) I hope to join you all again somteime soon.

Never have I seen anyone land a ship in a carrack while it was upside down on the ground

I soloed this phase, but all three missions spawned 6 hammerheads each! I had to two step Retaliator to Inferno for each of them. I thought everyone got the same challenge!

Can't wait to get more capitals in game.

Carrack is a beast. But I cant help but think it would be cool to run a M2 as a snub carrier

Did you stop using the reshade 'night vision'? I find it very useful in dark asteroid fields.

Anvil carrack is the best multi-player ship in star citizen. Change my mind i dare you

I can't wait to see what the Drake Kraken does to that meta once it becomes flight ready. Already looking forward to the inevitable "life aboard a Kraken" series.

I have your character's hair (imagine if a young dean cain had the hair of prince charming a slightly less wide chin and very posable eyebrows that move as much as Jim Carrey's and that's me) I can't get it to bounce like it does in star citizen I suffer from frizz for the first few days after washing!

Try not to use the elevators while you're in quantum and see if that'll keep them from screwing up.

I noticed you no longer use reshade to see in the darker environments

so for the next ground mission, how about a bunch or STV’s instead of the Rover? could be similar to having a bunch of snubs but for ground missions.

@@zeroxception but wish we had a bit better ground mission for vehicles. Might just be a bit less buggy than cramming a bunch of people onto the Rover

average drake ship enjoyer trying their best to steal the carrack and then just crashing their own ship

God the encryption key section was so buggy. I did it myself then walked two others through it individually

None of that was necessary. You can fit both ships in the carrack with guns no problem. Did it myself

don't see the point in that many cruz's since the combination of 30k's, bugs and people attacking the carrack are rather a matter of time and wasting your money on 500 cans that might end up either deep in an ocean or floating in space seems like a waste of money unless you guys are seriously loaded!

With Pyro coming up it might be a good idea to see what life aboard a starfarer refueling ship would be like, if you guys didn't already do that
