You can also change the scaling of boss weapons by altering their handles using different cranks.

Easy trick, get your fable charged fully in the training yard then go back to where you are going to fight

Souls players, bloodbourne was not a souls game seeing all it had to do with was blood not souls, spirits whatever. Besides it was ok at best. Demon souls and and dark souls were amazing.

As a booster Handle main to see that you chose to use the glave with a separate handle is like watching someone only eat the black part of the Oreo. The Handle is the show sir

I accidently used my first Boss ergo, even though I knew it had a bigger purpose. I was using all my ergo to level, and forgot it was the bosses one!

While i love the Lies of P community for being so great st helping each other out i feel like we missed out on a grest opportunity to absolutely gaslight the shit out of each other in glorious Pinocchio fashion and just straight up lie to each other about builds and secrets especially on the PC end where you can have mods to absolutely mess with people and be like "on my momma bro i swear this is a super secret easter egg"

Honestly the future puppet was a lot easier to beat when I didn't lock on to him cuz I could see when he was about to lift up his legs and I would just run out of the way before he stomped down.

My personal favourite is the Electric Coil head on the Sabre handle. The Fable Arts are Generate and Concentrate for I'm pretty sure more than enough of an attack buff to mitigate having lost the Advance scaling.

Adding the Advance Crank to the Sabre handle to get the scaling back. Obviously not as high as keeping it with the Electric Coil handle, but still fun to use until you find the electric circular saw.

The whistle is a quest item for the boy in the window.

The act 3 boss should be easier for people than theyre making it out to be assuming players read a notice at the beginning of the factory. It tells you to use the electric blitz weapon on the puppets as most puppets up til that point are weak to electricity. The weapon with the electric tip is 1200 ero, use w/e handle you want, brinf some fable charge consumables, get the arm that does a close range shock blaat and you will wreck him in 2 or 3 full combos depending on what your handle is

2 or 3 full combos......nah not buying it. Had to be overleveled. at lv26 with full investment in weapon stat, It took at least 7-10 full combos worth for that boss. Even with shock debuff that only brought it down to a little. Just getting full combos on that boss is hard with its moveset. Unless your talking about spamming fable charges to use special attacks, seems very unlikely u killed him that fast.

@Vadecrat I knew his weakness going into rhe fight so I had the electric legion arm, electric weapon with a handle to compliment, scaling was switched to Dex and I got it to plus 3. That combined with my level which I think was mid 30s and yeah, it can be done

3 electric throwables (forget their name) and the Electric Blitz weapon and handle. Take 5 resistance buffs for his BS fire attack and use them through his second phase. Once you pop him with the 3rd throwable half the work is done.

This is my first Soulslike game. I was really excited to get the badass Umbrella weapon.... and apparently it's common knowledge to Veterans Souls players to keep boss soul. I was sadly unaware, and now when gameplay is slightly ruined😅 don't know why they're sellable to begin with, but this is a questionable sadistic community to begin with sooo lol

Don't worry about that, use the bone cutter on the police baton handle. It beats all of the boss weapons! The charged r2 builds stagger incredibly quick, smashes anything to bits!

If you like this and want to try another souls or souls like, Elden Ring is probably the next obvious choice, but don’t be afraid to give Bloodborne a shot. It holds up really well for it’s age and you’ll be amazed at the similarities it shares with Lies of P.

I totally spent my boss ergo. I even watched a "what you need to know" type of video before my play through. The only thing I remember from that video was he said not to save an consumables because you'll get plenty more as you play. Didn't say anything about the boss ergo specifically.

Salamander dagger on Glaive handle has been a ton of fun

I did everything completely different. Just running the big pipe wrench with Krat bat glaive. The charged attack is an up & down motion strike that helps stun bosses & enemies so I’ve been okay so far😅

Big Pipe Wrench's head combines best with the police baton's handle. Their fable arts follow up on each other perfectly. The baton's handle powers up the next attack significantly. The Big Pipe Wrench's fable art does a ton of damage, especially when fully charged. Combine the 2 and you have the single most powerful attack in the game. Well, aside from that it's also still a solid head/handle combination. The regular light attacks are kinda meh in terms of range and speed, but the charged attack is actually very fast for a charged attack and even faster than many technique weapon. It's just 1 powerful hit so enemies go down on their knees as soon as it hits. For many technique weapons, it downs on the last hit and that last hit usually comes out later than this move's single hit (and you also get some superarmor in the final 1/3rd or so of the attack animation). The dash attacks are also great. Other ones that combine pretty well with the police baton handle are the bone-cutting saw and live puppet's axe. The bone-cutting saw doesn't have a super powerful special attack, but it has a lot of range and the base damage is a little bit higher than the wrench. The live puppet's axe also has more range than the wrench and it's the most powerful head in the game (not counting boss weapons), but it has a bit less range than the bone-cutting saw. The fable art is also better than the bone-cutting saw's, but still not quite as good or powerful as the wrench's. Basically, best is probably to just the bone-cutting saw or live puppet's axe as a head throughout most of the stage. Then swap out for the wrench for bosses and powerful enemies that give you trouble.

you can use 2 cranks on boss weapons and turn a scaling into S tier so save the cranks or buy them from Vininis butler

@ohnstale6545 I checked and you can only use one crank at a time on boss weapons same as normal weapons. It looks like you can add another, but it just says you cannot alter this weapon any further.

Lies of p is my first souls-like game. I just beat the Twisted Angel, anf fortunatly I saw the treasure hunter before I consumed It's rare ergo.

Me spending all my flasks of resistance trying to take the puppet of the future on with that crappy decay debuff not knowing you could drain the water 😂 I've just defeated cathedral boss, so gonna go back to factory try find this lever! Where abouts was it?

It’s not the description trust me. It’s the art for them. They look like everything else >.>. I even knew these existed and almost used them because I was just chugging aloung leveling here and there with ergo. Bam about to select use until I was really looking at it realizing it wasn’t just a big one……… they just need to be bigger or more unique in how they look. Small gripe because this game has done an amazing job of scratching an itch that I haven’t had scratched in awhile. It’s damn good.

One boss item i have permanent to my build is the amulet you get from the Laxasia ergo, this amulet lowers the need to use the grinder if you continually block as successful blocks don't consume durability

Learnt to hold onto boss souls all the way back on Demons Souls .

Please Please to get the Remembrance gesture isn't a secret room. That mini boss spot has 2 paths you can take to reach him. Guessing you climbed the ladder and used the roof path.

I died over 15 times at the "balls" of the puppet of the future, but that was the point that i really started to like the game ^^ Then i had to fight the clown -_-

Same. I skipped past him the first time I saw him because it looked strong, but after coming back to that room from the other side I figured I'd try it. Died the first attempt, beat it the second attempt. And it was only later that I found out you could drain the corruption...

Beat him first attempt he was way to slow for the bosses I had fought before him, he aggressive use dodges I didn’t parry him to much as space and dodge is much much easier to do with almost 0 punishment

I never played an actual darksouls game so i didn't know it was common knowledge to keep certain items, But i have played RPGs so i tend to hoard valuable items anyway which actually saved me this time 😂😂.

I forgot to go bk n check that elevator!!! I found Aldo after i beat the Bishop!!!

The thing I hate is that people act like you should NEVER USE THESE for souls. Most of the boss weapons are not great. SOME ARE, but most aren't. It's fine, use them if you want. It's not going to break your game.

Well maybe it doesn’t ruin anything except your chances of platinum but actually since there are 5 gold records you need from ng+ the only thing you miss is platinum + all amulets in 2 playthroughs

The Two Dragons Sword is honestly awesome. I'm tempted to respec to Technique purely because of that thing. A parry as part of your charged R2, a dodge as part of your R2, AND sidesteps on your R1s? So damn good. Oh, and a light wave slash fable art.

Nah dawg. The game is fun BUT I prefer to see PLAYER POWER stats on my gear. Fashion is not gonna help me slay bosses. I prefer games like GOD OF WAR 4 and 5 with PERKS and STATS. Heck I even prefer Nioh 2 and Wo Short.

Really regretting not seeing this earlier, but always afraid of spoiled

You can find at least one hidden item with the search ground gesture, also listening to records will increase your humanity
