Nameless puppet is easy. Just upgrade the double perfect grindstone then fight aggressively in the second phase.

Laxasia is what happens when Ivy (Soulcalibur) invades a Souls-like. Tall, curvy, fast, deadly... and a more revealing outfit. I must have tried 25+ times before I finally beat her. It got to the point where I could get passed the first phase with just using one heal at most, but the second phase? That stomped me into the ground over and over until I learned what parrying the projectiles did by accident, and got better at timing the dodges for her up close attacks. That, and finding out that acid is seemingly a weakness for her (it helps, but not overly drastically). The one thing I never got the hang of was avoiding her homing drop attack after the six lightning projectiles. That hit me every single time. I couldn't out run it, dodge it, or block it. Cool boss, cool fight, and it feels great when you finally defeat her.

That damn "flash step" she does, got me almost every time, even though I knew it was coming. Pretty cool fight. 🙂

Is that the one where she teleports behind you? I have no idea why they put moves like that in these games. The camera simply isn't designed for it. Easy to block, but perfect blocking is tough when you can barely tell what's happening.

Her phase 2 dive attack is really hard to parry respect for this gamer to do it 👏🏻👏🏻

and also, you have equiped the patience amulet, well done!! that give you more useful stamina regen , wich is a must in this game , specially on bosses

Loved this fight, not sure I'd call it the hardest though, it took me around 45 min to beat but others had me stuck for an hour or two, on the winning attempt I only got hit once (that teleport attack is insanely hard to parry!) The green swamp boss was harder IMO!

Mikkaa’s reflexes are so freaking quick👀! My best reflexes are way way behind me now. This game is hard.

Final dude after her is the same pattern: phase one is easy, phase two: super aggro. You got this boss a lot faster than me. Anyone still struggling, she is super weak to acid

From what i noticed in my playthru puppets are weak to shock, humans to acid and carcasses to fire.

For anyone struggling with getting the hit on bosses to stager them, buy Shot Put's. Not to mention Fire/Acid/Shock bombs are really good and scale with Advanced.

I discovered, accidentally, that the auto perfect guard grindstone can deflect the hurled lightning bolts at the start of phase 2. They hit hard and home in one her like missiles.

True but I found that acid grindstone totally melts phase 1, and that first volley of phase 2 is pretty forgiving for perfect blocks. Kept most resources by melting phase 1 asap

She is majestic looking I don’t know if that’s weird but when she has her lightning blade out she looks majestic

I personally found The Acid Crystal Spear works well against her but it was also when I found out you can reflect her lightning projectiles back at her that turned the tide in my favour

Throwables are your best friend in phase 2 . This boss was easy compared to black rabbit 2 fight and that crazy illusionist .

Probably the coolest boss in game, definitely not easy but badass design and moveset!

You can break her showl so you can hit her from behind and it will render it useless in fase 2. Also if you break her weapon it'll put her into fase 2 even if she has full health... hard af tho

Having been stuck on that bug thing in the tower in the colapsed city area for 2 days, I was expecting serious trouble here, but I beat her first try and it wasn't even close. I guess I was just lucky! She's very weak to the acid grinder in her first form. It just melts her health bar.

Im glad im not the only one giving her momma status, she defs has that momma strength

Great job. Just a tip if you have them ready for a stun but you can’t get a charged attack in a shotput through will instantly stagger them.

If you see that you are good at parrying, try using the twin dragon swords and the game will completely change. Ignore all the bosses' attack patterns and counterattack. ‘Fable Arts’ damage is also OP. However, you have to be good at parrying...

Best way to do this fight is use acid in phase 1 it does dmg and breaks her shield then in phase 2 use the perfect parry thing at the start to do a. Shit ton of dmg and pray you can pull it off from there

the only time i parry on this is when she thows lightning bolt at you, other than that dashing and dodging (you got to time it right tho) is the way to go atleast for me on this fight.

One of the most fair/enjoyable bosses in the game. Especially phase 2 if you know what i mean hehe

In my first playthrough she was so easy with a motivity build. Killed her on my 1st try. On NG+, after playing with an Advanced build the whole before getting to her(pretty fun btw, with Pandemonium Legion Arm and Electric Chainsaw and Black Steel Cutter Blade as main weapons). I decided to switch to a Technique build, and she is kicking my azz more than 30 times xD. I even stopped playing for quite a while. I guess I'm going back to Motivity...

Love the boss fight definitely not harder than Malenia form elden ring in my experience

ayo homegirl was like "lets do one try against one of the hardest soulslike bosses ever made" and then went "OH ITS A LADY" OK M8 LMAO

For me, the flash step wasn’t that hard simply because I’ve always felt faster attacks are easier to parry than delayed ones. Needless to say the first phase demolished me horrendously.

This isn't the hardest boss. The hardest boss is, of course, the Nameless Puppet because it's the only one where you can't have a summons, and it's P2 is insane. I still can't get through NP, but Laxasia only took me half a dozen tries.

For anyone finding this now, there's an easier way to stagger bosses, especially very mobile ones like this one. S P O I L E R S P O I L E R S Before the black rabbit brotherhood fight, you'll find a tavern that has a shortcut back to the Stargazer. If you go up the ladder to the second level, there's a merchant that sells a throwable called shot put. This throwable will stagger enemies in one hit once they're staggerable.

Laxasia wasn't as hard as thought she was going to be easier then i thought.

Before I'm out of here advice to people who are stuck on this boss or haven't played it doesn't use fire like she is use the acid whetstone it melts the first stage of the boss. 2nd if you haven't learned the basics of this game by this fight then it amazing you got this far 2nd phase perfect block everything even the lighting bolts shot at you you bounce them back to the boss creating massive stagger damage

This game is clone of sekiro and Bloodborn and blocking and guard is a massive part of this game and the perfect block window is quite generous. Dodging in this game makes it harder and you don’t break the enamys guard or weapons which makes the fights gonon longer and doesn’t open enamys up for a guard break and repost. This fight you can beat it just by doing perfect blocks this game is do diffrent to other souls likes as the bosses in the areas have the same move sets as the mini bosses in that area for blocks and some areas the mid tier normal enamys. I learnt the hard way I brute forced going through sekiro playing it like a souls game up to Owl then Owl father and the propper last boss I can honestly say I haven’t had such a hard time in a video game since the last level on Killzone 2 on Elite and dieing in these games in one of the main mechanics. I heard of people who have spent hrs on this boss. And people don’t seem to be mentioning that the acid wheatstone melts the first phase then perfect block on the 2nd just destroys her

Honestly I found this boss to be one of the easier bosses in the game. I found the human like bosses to be easier than the big monster bosses like the swamp monster and the cardinal. I don’t know why but luxasia, Romeo and walker of illusion were really simple for me.

I think a part of it is because the camera works (mostly) in your favour on bosses this size, and the devs (mostly) know it. Plus, they're designed to be a lot more readable than many of the big bosses. A lot of people don't like the second Brotherhood fight, but it was my favourite for these two reasons. It's challenging, but if the camera needed to do what it does in the Simon fight, for instance, or if the other siblings just randomly charged in to attack you in the back, it would be impossible. As for Romeo, as long as you dodge left during his combo string, and avoid his grab strike, I honestly think he's the easiest boss in the game. Not saying I beat him first time like I did other bosses, but he's so passive that when you know what to look for, he melts.

I'm using a specter and i'm still strugglin'.
