Standard has the demolition excavator 35 ton counterweight. Beco (www.beco-group.com) placed 18 ton extra counterweight and built the triple boom.
Lek Sloopwerken needs for one of the projets a special triple boom that could demolish 18 meter deep. Beco has experience with building this types op booms. The original Liebherr triple boom couldn't reach the requested dept, so Lek Sloopwerken has ordered a special Beco triple boom. The maximum working height is 30 meter and the maximum tool capacity is 15 ton.
The Liebherr R980 Demolition is now working on a big industrial demoliton site. Also working with triple boom and Dehaco (www.dehaco.nl) DSG 5000 demolition grab. The Liebherr R980 Demolition also has a 3-piece demolition boom that can reach 55 meter high. Liebherr offers a telescopic boom of 55 or 60 meter for the R980 Demolition. Because the heavy industrial demolition projects, Lek prefers a normal demolition boom in stead of a telescopic. This 3-piece demolition boom will also be built by Beco.
