Great machine. Having seen a presentation of the new 766, I really wonder why Liebherr didnt use the opportunity to give that a high drive as well. It is also funny why they dont mention the high drive with a single word. Ocillating boogies can only be had with a high drive and makes a big difference in a D8 size as well

I don't know how they compare to CAT, but it seems that Liebherr is very focused upon ease of maintenance and long term maintainability. And yes he said 8000 hours between oil changes. Synthetic oils don't so much wear out as they become saturated with combustion byproducts and contaminates. IF, and that's a mighty big IF you can keep the synthetic oil clean from combustion contaminates then you don't need to change it for thousands upon thousands of hours. Post in case, turbine engines like the high bypass fan jets on all modern jets. Because the oil never is exposed to any part of the combustion process it's only changed at major service intervals with thousands of hours time on the oil. But again the key is very high filtration down to sizes like one micron, where your best auto filters at your local auto parts store will be 25 microns or more at best. Look at it this way stiff competition for CAT or all the manufacturers is only going to drive CAT and the rest to design better, more powerful, longer lasting more productive machines and we all win from that. So good Job Liebherr, give them a run for their money.

@ Liebherr good day, how much operating hours frame warranty? Komatsu declare 10 years or 60 000 operational hours on d375A-8 dozer(same class as pr776), how much hours warranty on PR 776 dozer's frame you provide?

That is D375-6 or D10T class. How about blade capacity, also remain same w/ the both one...??

Generally the PR 776 Litronic is used in mining applications - so to operate one, we would recommend to apply at a mining company as an operator, paul thompson.

Nowhere near. Komatsu is 860KW (1150 BHP) , the Liebherr is 440KW, (589 BHP). It's a different class of machine.

i thought CAT patented the high sprocket drive system can anyone give me an answer to that ? and i hope he wasnt meaning engine oil service intervals of 8000 hours thats a very long time for engine oil to stand up lol

У нас кстати тоже коматсу вообще полнейшее говно по сравнению с ним 3 месяца работает пол года стоит

i'm sure is a great dozer, but use of high drive is also a great victory for Cat

Not a fan of that mass of handrails...surely they could do a much more elegant design. It looks like it was added on as an afterthought.
