In this captivating video, we showcase the most recent Liebherr addition to Euroports' crane fleet: the all-electric LPS 420 E. Designed specifically for ports with electric infrastructure, this remarkable portal crane offers a locally emission-free operation, making it a dynamic and environmentally friendly solution. With its exceptional turnover of up to 1,200 tonnes per hour and an impressive outreach of 48 metres, the LPS 420 E can efficiently serve ships up to Panamax class, setting new standards for electric-driven bulk handling performance.
And there's more than meets the eye! The crane's unique design includes liquid-cooled components with external heat exchangers, ensuring minimal dust contamination - a significant advantage for bulk handling operations. Our active front-end frequency converter and high-performance power accumulators enable stable operation by compensating for power supply variations and reducing peak loads. The crane's synchronous electric motors provide precise driving characteristics, resulting in enhanced efficiency.
