I have fallen down the rabbit hole of these German films and am enjoying myself immensely! Some of them I've been saving for when I try to learn German. This one was so compelling I had to watch a ton of it. I do look up the plot synopsis beforehand, as it's the only way to survive. But unfortunately this one didn't have a complete online synopsis...so I was curious, what was the ending? It looked like a happy one... Also, if it's not too forward of me, I was wondering if you had and were interested in uploading Seine Beste Rolle since that is what got me into these German films in the first place--unfortunately it was nowhere to be found online, and I ended up watching what came up in related searches instead. I am a very huge Hans Hotter fan, and wouldn't mind watching it even though I don't know German... Feel free to not upload it though! :) No pressure! I do wish I could write this in German...sorry in advance!

I've fallen down that same rabbit hole. I love these old films! These actors and actresses are extremely talented, and I admire some of them so much for being multilingual. I have tried to teach myself German for years, and it is SO HARD! When I want to write something in another language, I cheat and use the Google translator, but that doesn't help much when, many of these old European movies have no English subtitles. Therefore, I watch them anyway not knowing a thing about what's going on. I try to figure it out on my own, which is not always easy. However, I still enjoy these movies regardless.
