Being double yoked to the OT Commandments PLUS all the NT Commandments of Jesus is Bad News. That's not the Gospel. That's not Joy or Peace. That's not Grace or Love. It's not Light or Easy. That's not what Jesus promised. "Christians" who follow the 613 Mitzvot Laws are lost & their faith is in vain. Their zealousness is not according to knowledge of God's Spirit which is the Spirit of Wisdom. They need to Repent & be a Berean, rightly dividing the Word of God.

(Revelation 14).. Also Paul is correct....we can easily reconcile Rom 3:28 when we combine verses 28 -31.......WE could NEVER be saved by mere ritualistic law keeping (outward demonstrations of piety)......The New Covenant involves TOTAL TRANSFORMATION INTO GODS IMAGE..thru the High Priestly Ministry of Jesus in the heavenly sanctuary.....JESUS ministry did NOT stop at the cross or even His resurrection......Hebrews speaks about JESUS Ministry where He lives to intercede for us Heb 7:25 in first the Holy then the Most Holy place of the Heavenly Sanctuary.....meaning....Our Holy God thru the power of His Spirit occupies our Hearts and seals our minds ....(GOD in us the Hope of Glory).....Represented by the Ark of the Covenant in the Most Holy Place (Law of God, Aarons Rod which buds, the Manna) covered with the Mercy Seat....The New Covenant established in our hearts ....representing JESUS and His work in us......THEN manifested in GODS WORKS thru us.....so this is how we will be judged.....BY GODS WORKS manifested thru us...JAMES 2:12....The Investigative Judgment......Very Easy to understand....I hope u do to.....be blessed.

That is as or more damning than I was before, because now I know I “used” Christ for my freedom to sin. I think the fancy name is Antinomianism. That seems worse. what I want is tor love and be loved by Christ, but in TRUTH., I wonder if I don’t love the comfort and security He has provided me.

You can use them as a teaching point if God is leading you to do so in the moment. However it is not a requirement and in most cases it will be counterproductive. Paul and Barnabas in Acts didn’t preach the law to Gentiles who had not been given the law. The most effective way is for you to bear witness about the God who is alive in your life. The testimony of the one who saved you. The relationship you have with him. Helping someone receive a revelation of the reality sin is important overall. But it may not be what’s needed in the moment. I think usually the basics that are needed to be relayed unless the Holy Spirit uniquely directs otherwise in the moment, is to explain how Jesus dealt with all of our sins and that’s how we’re able to live every day with a clean conscience. How his life lived and his death on our behalf was the fullest demonstration of love. Explain is resurrection from the dead securing eternal salvation. And how what is required to pass out of death is upon receiving understanding of the Gospel, is to relinquish the rights we believe we have to our own life (deny ourselves) and simply place our trust in God through this new revelation of Christ. This can look different for every person but overall the point is, we are coming to our life’s faith and hope being put in Jesus who is both our savior and the lord of our life. There’s power in this knowledge and in this release/expression of faith in him. It may look small or it may look big. Don’t hinge results on outward appearance. But trust them to the Father.

Here is a thought that I hope clears this up for someone. Illustration: You have a battery in a circuit. That circuit is connected to the battery, but the circuit has many connection points but nothing is connected to it, no light or no motor, nothing is connected, but the battery. How do you know that the battery is working or a real battery? You don't unless you see something operating because of the battery power. Believers in Christ have that battery of Christ in them, but do they have it connected to anything showing that they have the power of Jesus in their life. So to me the question of is this person a believer or not, is not the point here, but is there any evidence being shown. If not their action of faith is dead to those around them and to God. James 2 is not a saved or not saved passage but an action of faith passage.

The purpose of the Law was to keep the Jewish bloodline clean enough for Jesus to be born. They were set apart from the Gentile world but definitely not Holy. Only God is Holy. Also, the Law revealed the Curse of Sin, Death & Hell which was established in Genesis after the sin I. The Garden of Eden. The entire system of The Law (10 or 613) led to Death & Hell bc nobody could keep them perfectly. Until Jesus fulfilled them all.

Keith, hugs to you. None of these people that answered are telling you the truth. They are liars because no one can perfectly turn from their sins. No one stops sinning. Why did Jesus die? For nothing? Or because we can't stop sinning? Keith, one is saved by belief alone. Ask God to help you believe in His full forgiveness. Not many actually believe, you will find. It's the great falling away or deception. It's actually not easy to believe because men are stiff necked and proud. They think they can attain some sort of personal holiness. God made me to believe and the minute you see that He died for all your sins, past, present and future and you are now seen as righteous to God, you are the righteousness of God, you are sanctified and justified. You are saved, that moment because He put His holy spirit in you removing the blinders of unbelief, saving and sealing you, keeping you safe til the end. He will never leave you, be disappointed in you, nor be angry with you, he will lead and guide you. His love and forgiveness is full and real and he died to all sin, for the whole world, once for all. It is finished. We just have to believe and like I said..he will help you to do even that. Ask Him if what I say is true. He is so awesome. He will show you that you can have a real relationship with Him based on resting and trusting in what He already accomplished for you (cross/resurrection) and not based on what you do. Your old nature has died on the cross with Jesus and He will give you a new nature, a new heart. While on this Earth we constantly struggle against our sin nature. Trying to be holy or stop sinning doesn't work, only God can change us from within. It's hard to explain until He makes you to see.kzread.info/dash/bejne/eayjz9yzlrOzp7A.html Prayers that you will see and know God. Hugs.

I have been studying the Bible, keeping an open mind as I do so. I see flaws in this talk. It is true that faith is very important. It is definitly necessary for salvation - no question about it. That is why, during Jesus, life time on earth, he provided visible proof of, what his father prophesied, can actually be done. As a result we can see that it is possible for God to produce a new heaven and a new earth where righteousness will dwell. Noah,s flood showed us that He can cleanse the earth of all unrighteousness. Healing people, raising them from the dead and performing miracles were performed for all to see. We now have, with us today, this record to help us to build our faith on, even the doubting Thomases are accommodated. I personally have no problem adhering to Romans 10 . 9. I haven,t had much oportunity to profess that Jesus is lord, but I firmly believe that his Father resurected him from the dead. I also believe that, when Jesus was asked what must be done to be saved, he said obey my commands. We are not required to adhere to the Mosaic law, but we do have commands to adhere to. Some of them are carried over from this law, such as 9 out of the 10 commandments. Jesus said that the two greatest commands were to love God with your whole heart and mind and to love your neighbour as yourself. He said that, by this, all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves. He also told us that we must control our tongues and that what comes out of a person ,s mouth shows what is in his heart. We are commanded to put on the new personality, as Andrew mentions. We have other commands - pray without ceasing (not 24 hours a day, of course, pray for the spiritual issue at hand), keep testing your faith, keep proving what you are, pray that you be not deceived, let he that does not work, not eat, those who live by the sword, will perish by the sword, let not a vile word come from your mouth, do not be drunkards, do not think evil, this is as good as committing the offense, be forgiving, don,t hold grudges, etc. The above constitute laws that we must abide by. Abiding by God,s laws will keep us on the straight and narrow so that we will endure to the end in God,s favour. Adhering to these rules, as best we can will produce, in us, the good works that will automatically flow from us. This, along with worshiping God in spirit and truth, coupled with faith, will gain everlastin life for us. Everlasting life is our reward, but should not be our selfish goal. Our goal is to love God and his son, have an undying faith in them, hunger and thirst for righteousness, and proclaim His comming kingdom and express our desire to help others to become a part of it. Yes, there are commands and making an adherance to these commands a signifant part of your lives is a necessary part of our salvation - coupled with faith, of course. James 2 . 14 may stay in the Bible. I would not remove it, just because I might not like it. Rightly so, giving a helping hand to the poor would be showing love for your neighbour. Getting out of Babylon the great would be showing love for God. Not joining the military and going to war would be showing, to an extent, that you have love among yourselves. Could you actually pull the trigger not knowing if you were about to kill a brother. Worldly wars and skirmishes do not nullify Gods commands. Those who endure to the end are the ones who will be saved. So, get rid of your pet sins, repent, obey the commands and pray that you be not deceived. Keep up the good work. You probably really should seriously consider research to prove the validuty of your doctrinal beliefs. How else can you prove if you are on the right track. If you have doubts, research, as I do. To make accurate decissions you need all the information, boh for and against. There are lots of talks in KZread to help your research. It can only strengthen your faith. Research and ask for the holy spirit,s guidance. You can,t go wrong if you are sinsere.

@@brianmuganyizi6998 i do understand Findleys talk and he has it all backwards. It is correct that Jesus abolished the old covenant, but he introduaced the new covenant. The new covanant is found in the new testament which contains the commands of Jesus of which there are about 50 or so. The most important command is love and John 14 : 15 says of Jesus, that if you love me you will obey my commands. This message was obviously meant for true christians because non christians probably do not love Jesus. His commands listed do not begin with "thou shalt not", but rather "those who do these things will not inherit the kingdom. 1 Cor. 6 : 9,10 lists thieves and adulteters will not inherit the kingdom. Romans 2 : 21, 22 informs us that - how can we teach people not to steal or commit adultery and yet we do those things ourselves. This instruction simply means that christisns must obey the law if they are to teach it. The appostles taught obedience to the laws. In Jesus, instructions, he listed 9 out of the ten commandments, paying strict attention to them. If he intended for us to keep the sabath he would have said - those who do not keep the sabbath will not inherit the kingdom. Stragely, he left out the sabbath, when he so meticulously stated the remaining 9. Eph. Chapter 2, James chapter 2 and Romans chapter 2 should all be left as is. They simply mean that the old law or torah has been done away with and what remains is the new covanant which contains Jesus, commands that we must obey in order to gain eternal life. Once saved always saved is a dangerous false doctrine that Satan instituted to get you to drop your guard. If we need not be concerned about obeying the law and don,t worry because you have been chosen, why would Jesus say that those who endure till the end are the ones that will be saved. Why would Satan try to mislead the elect with false proffets if it were impossible. Adam was created with the possibility of living forever on earth, the earth being filled with people in a righteous state. God,s plan has not changed but the method to achieve this was altered because of Satan,s interference. Through Adam death entered the picture. Jesus came and showed us how to regain what we had lost. Adam, a perfent man obviously lost faith and confidence in God and broke God,s command thus sinning and collecting the wages of sin -death. Jesus came as a perfect man, kept his Father,s commands and unjustly paid the price of sin and died. Jesus thus paid the wages of sin for all of us so that now we can benefit from the free gift of grace that Jesus obtained for all of us. Now we have the chance to gain immortality through Jesus paying the price of redemption. Obeying God,s commands never left the picture. Adam disobeyed and died. We must obey to live. It is recognized that we are not perfect. This is why the holy spirit has been sent to help us. Where we lack in ability, the holy spirit evens up the odds. We are told that there is no temptation that is too severe to overcome, we will be given the way out. Titus 3 : 8 commands us to - be careful to maintain good works. It is good and profitable for men. In fact it is part of salvation. We are also supposed to demonstrate in our actions, speach and general overall behavior that we are not like the others. Our tongues can condemn us as well as save us. This, of course should bring me to todays false merhod of speaking in tongues, but that is another subject. Be prepared to live on earth, that,s where most of the salvaged, resurected ones will end up. God never deprived us of increasing and multiplying and filling the earth. It is just a matter of determining who will remain there in the end.

[2]Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. [3]And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. [4]Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. [5]And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. [6]Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. [7]Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. [8]He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. [9]Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. [10]In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. [11]For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. [12]Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. [13]Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you. [14]We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. [15]Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. [16]Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. [17]But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? [18]My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. [19]And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. [20]For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. [21]Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. [22]And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. [23]And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. [24]And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. Jesus didn't die on that cross to try to make you a better law keeper. Jesus IS OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS! Do you get it ? Did you receive the spirit by the hearing of faith or by the deeds of the law ? Read your scriptures and rightly divide the word. For you to deny eternal security you make Christ out to be a liar because it is clear that it is faith APART from works that save.

James is talking to fellow believers. The works he is talking about is his service to the Lord. It is not a salvation issue but serving the Lord by doing good works and showing and working out his faith not just giving lip service. It seems pretty simple to me if you seperate your salvation by faith alone. and your service to the Lord. Although I have never heard this preached I believe this is the revelation from the Holy spirit i was given when I struggled with James 2.

Repent simply means to change ones mind which we do when we turn from the world to Christ Jesus. Many times in the old testament God repents. He changes his mind, He does not turn from sin or any other meaning of repentance that we are taught. If we have the Holy Spirit indwelling us as believers then we are saved. He does not indwell non believers nor will he leave us or forsake us. And if it is our actions that keep us saved then we are all doomed. And what do you do with All the scriptures like John 3:16, Romans 10:9. There would be no assurance that we are saved and the Lords yoke would be hard to bare and heavy. And no rest because are our works good enough, are there enough of them, did we forget to repent. And so where is the good news and really what does the gospel really mean if it is out works that count for salvation. I don't have all the answers but if my salvation relies on me then im a gonna. In fact all of these are acts. Work is an act. Paul doesn't say all are saved without works, he says all GENTILES are saved wtihout works of the law. It is all so much more complicated than this simple sermon. Oh well. Keep preaching to a dead version of Christianity, Andrew. Faith plus good works for salvation, this is a lie when taught for the salvation of the spirit, but it is the truth when applied to the salvation of the soul and body. One of the biggest lies that we face today is that Christ death on Calvary saved me spirit, soul and body. This is a lie, if the soul were saved, we would not be told to crucify the old man, if the body were saved we would not be told to mortify it, all scriptures conclude that our soul and body are corruptible, mortal and fleshly, as we are commanded to deny it and crucify it as a Christian. Then we are commanded to walk in the born again spirit, not the soul, or flesh. A careful study of James 1:21 informs all believers that the Ten Commandments written in the heart, which is the new covenant, is what we obey with meekness in order to save our souls. Clarity.

You haven’t explained the contradiction if your saying that James is preaching the same gospel as Paul. We have a problem. I hope and pray that this is something you will come to understand so you can truly come to know how free this gift is He offers to us. Justification is the act of declaring or making righteous in the site of God. In your Lies #3 video you state we are made righteous by the resurrection. Your thoughts of justification by faith seem to contradict righteousness by the resurrection. Romans 4:25 says He was raised again for our justification. Seems our righteousness/justification are inseparable and occur at His raising. You also says we have to choose to be saved and that is what separates us from the demons. What does Christ himself say about being born again? He says the spirit causes this and it is under as much of our control as we can control the wind in John 3. As people we want to control our salvation. Problem is God controls it from start to finish already.

False teachers redefine faith as obedience and belief as total commitment. Let's help you with the Biblical definition of faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. The true gospel is mocked as easy believism. Easy or hard, it's believing that saves you. Period. Whether or not you act upon your faith is a service issue, nothing to do with salvation at all. Salvation is absolutely free and not conditional upon service. Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.
