Hello, good evening back! We've started doing more shopping in Lidl lately, finding the shopping experience a bit more relaxing than Tesco, don't know why, less crowds perhaps? Red peppers for us👍

Hi Imo, you mentioned not seeing tinned black beans that much in the uk, if look at Sainsbury’s and Asda you should be able to regularly see them. I buy them for lunches and soups (my favourite type of bean😀) I think in Sainsbury’s they may sell them in cartons also ❤

I prefer red or orange peppers, green are bitter

I prefer red peppers. If I buy a big bag I chop and freeze them. I do this with spring onions, spinach and celery and leeks too for cooking. Mustard crisps? 🤢 I did my Camembert in the air fryer recently, worked well. If you come across poppadoms in other shops most I’ve found are gluten free. You can get gluten free crackers by the way. Lidl have little round savoury cracker in different flavours that are gluten free. Chilli flavour being one. x

It’s incredible isn’t it. I use the spinach in curry. You can freeze mushrooms too, but they can go a bit watery during cooking. I just pour the liquid off or cook them longer so the liquid reduces down. x

I had to have a little laugh when you mentioned about overdosing on vitamin D. Why? You can tell I'm Australian by my username. Land of sunshine. This Aussie girl is and has been chronically low on vitamin D. Once every 3 months my Dr may prescribe a 100,000 mg dose for me. It's a one off thing which must be drunk in front of the pharmacist. It tastes revolting as the vitamin D is suspended in almond oil.

I’ll eat all peppers, but I favour green peppers too. Yellow and orange are a little too sweet for me. As a big honey mustard fan, mustard crisps sound good

I with u Imo I like green peppers

I'm going rogue and saying I cant tell the difference in pepper 😳 I don't eat them raw really, only in cooking so maybe thats why haha. Didn't M&S sue Aldi over the caterpillar cakes lol so watch out lidl 🤣
