An hour on the Lickey Incline with Pathfinder's rail tour to Wales & a freight banked up the Lickey.

Well Dave they say you lean something everyday well I have as I didn’t realise that 6M60 needed a banker, and I’m only thirty minutes drive away. Thanks Dave for this very good footage.

I was only staying 5 mins up the road so was going for the rail tour,6M60 was a bonus as it was running early and banked, rare to catch in daylight hours i gather.Cheers Dave

A triple helping of slogging Sheds. The china clay was always famously heavy; it used to be routed via Hereford to avoid the Lickey

I thought the same! The passenger train didn't appear to be going any faster than the Peak class (now 45) that was on passenger trains of a similar weight in the 1960s

Thanks,the banking loco slowed off the rear just out of shot & returned to Bescot a couple of signals behind the train.Thanks for watching😝👍🏼
