Might as well be the only keyboard library one will need as a minimum, save for analog, FM and other forms of granular synthesis! Lovely content. Nothing groundbreaking, but lovely!

this is exactly the kontakt's keyscape the grand piano in the keyscape is LAC7 (yamaha los angles c7 grand) and the grand in the hammers and waves is LAC6 (yamaha los angles c6 grand

Another in a series of super-informative walkthroughs, Cory, and as you mention, a viable alternative to Keyscape. As you point out, Hammers + Waves appears to be even more malleable/tweak-able than Keyscape; however, Keyscape Creative (its integration with Omnisphere) is unique. Further, the two are essentially the same price, but Keyscape's footprint is somewhat larger (77GB v 54GB) Guess the only thing to do is get 'em both. . .

I've always wondered why somebody hasn't tried to sample a piano library with a machine instead of a person.

iirc VSL did at one point, 127 dynamic layers no less

@@pixelcat_yt I've heard of VSL doing a piano with 127 dynamic layers but I didn't know that one was done with a robot!

Late reply but Soniccouture's Hammersmith was done that way.
