Relationship issues .... may we heal from the trauma

I am so done with the past person. It's a constant push pull relationship. I know it's no good. I love him and I know I will always love him. But I cannot be in just a situationship/fwb relationship. I want a fully committed relationship. I deserve that and more. As far as the new person- I am being so careful I do not even want to give in. I rather just be friends. I am scared to start anew.
