I think 22 people in total were killed, which doesn’t sound like alot, but here in Maine we live in small communities and basically everyone knows eachother. The shooter is dead now. I do as well. I live in Plymouth, and my aunt lives in the area by Lewiston. My mom has told me that my aunt actually know Robert Card’s family, and that it’s just unfortunate to see how he turned out to be. Nah, most of them would be confused, they referred to WWI as the "Great War", "The war to end all wars", "Weltkrieg" In German, "La grande Guerre" in french, etc, so most of them would probably say "World war 1? Alzheimer's is a horrible thing. I miss my grandma. She was taken from me and my family from this monster a year ago. We all felt dread, but my mother especially felt the most impact. She died just a few months before turning 70. There was nothing we could do. Her speech was already unitelligible, and her health was declining at a rapid rate. When we tried speaking to her, it sounded like she was a little child, yearning for freedom, gibberish coming out of her mouth. Then, a call came from a family member, saying that she was dead. Her last words to me were "Handsome boy". I was only eleven at the time she died. Eleven. Those words she said to me I was five. Man, I was so innocent at that time, not knowing the troubles she had been facing, and those words were the last words I could understand from her. It's inevitable that my mother gets it... Damn you Alzheimer's. You have taken too many away from us. Edit:Thank you all for the positive comments, they’re making me feel better :)

В 2022 когда мой дедушка погиб, после похорон ночью когда я ложился спать мне послышался хриплый голос, и перед смертью у моего деда также охрип голос я не предал этому значения и лёг спать, мне приснилось что в той же комнате где я спал пришёл мой дед и без слов ударил толстой книжкой из книжного шкафа,через секунду я проснулся и не мог забыть этот случай ещё месяц
