Liberty women's basketball team's "Big 3"

Спорт

Game On recently profiled the Liberty women's basketball team's "Big 3," redshirt senior post players Katelyn Adams, Catherine Kearney and Ashley Rininger.
During the fall of 2011, Liberty's crop of new women's basketball players included 6-5 Katelyn Adams from Burnsville, Minn., 6-6 Catherine Kearney from Monroeville, N.J. and 6-4 Ashley Rininger from Canton, Ohio.
Four years later, the trio is playing its final season for the Lady Flames, having left a major impact on the program.
Liberty has won three Big South titles and made three NCAA Tournament appearances during the last four seasons, thanks in large part to Adams, Kearney and Rininger, who have totaled more than 2,300 points, 1,900 rebounds and 300 blocked shots for the Lady Flames.
Adams (nursing), Kearney (sport management) and Rininger (criminal justice) have all completed bachelor's degrees, while Rininger has also earned a master's degree in human services counseling.
