Hi Brandon - Good tour. Fun to see the different places on Liberty. Never been on Liberty but the ships are sufficiently similar to feel the fun of cruising. LOVED hearing "Washy Washy" It is so much fun to explore a cruise ship. It is interesting to me that you have favorite places to almost isolate yourself and then you show them on your your Tube Channel. You're the watched people. Request: please work in a visit to helicopter landing site. I love those views...out to sea and back on the ship. Ted

haha, hopefully, not giving too many secrets away! If someone recognizes me, that is a differnet story as I love those experiences and meeting folks from here. Just don't want to sit in the crowd. Will see what I can do of the Heli pad. Just shot another video of an oceanview panoramic suite that has amazing views of the heli pad going live soon.

I'll be on Independence in August and just booked Liberty for December. I've was on Mariner and Enchantment years ago and can't wait to set sail this year. Thanks for the tour!

Thank you for that very informative tour. You definitely dropped some gems. I’ll be on Liberty in spring 2024 and wanted to know if you have any tips for groups traveling together of 20 or more.

Main tip is to use a travel agent who knows RCL. Link all of your reservations, get dinner accommodations confirmed before and feel like the group has an "overall plan".

Was on Mariner in January and this ship looks remarkably similar to that one. Oddly, Liberty was our shadow in that it has the same itinerary as us. And my wife and I will be on this ship in a month or so. Given its similarities to Mariner, I don’t think we’ll get lost. Good tour though!

No, if you know Mariner, you will be fine on Liberty. Liberty is just a stretched version of Mariner at the end of the day.

We are going back on carnival liberty in October. We are thinking about checking out the liberty of the seas next February or march.

A full tour at last! [smile] Around minutes 14 to 16, I noticed that this very old ship has the shops and restaurants in a grand atrium reminiscent of the airy Central Park on the mega-ships. By contrast, on most cruise-ships, (including other Royal Caribbean ships like Rhapsody of the Seas, and all the other cruiselines that I have seen or read about,) the shops and cafes and lounges tend to be on lower inside decks with regular ceilings and feel more cozy. How many Royal Caribbean ships have this grand atrium-style for the shops and cafes like this?

haha hey Brent! This tour was just for you! The atrium begins in the Voyager class series of Navigator, Mariner, Explorer or the 1999 builds and after. Interestingly, they moved away from this Royal Promenade for Quantum class ships.

I was on Liberty in February. It was a bit dated, but still comfortable, and enjoyable. MDR was good, but all other complimentary dining options were underwhelming. Service was excellent all over the ship, and the ports we visited were great. The beach club on Coco Kay was outstanding, and the lobster lunch was probably the best meal of the trip.

The Freedom Class ships fit my needs best with the 4-5 weekday itineraries. I have done the Oasis and Allure several times for longer sailings. Not really interested in going on newer large ships and paying those prices. Enjoy Coco Cay even with two ships docked. But the prices for extras like the Beach Club and Cabanas have almost doubled! FYI, have been cruising for 20 years and quit Carnival about 10 years ago after 17 Cruises. I did the Royal Princess this past June in Alaska and the food was the worst I had ever experienced. Booked Ovation for June of 2024 out of Seattle and plan to enjoy RC in Alaska. Also, back on the Oasis in November of 2023 for a 7 night sailing. I will be on the Liberty in March of 2024 out of Port Everglades.

I think you are experiencing something else I am. The company that was great last year, isn't great this year. That goes for hotels, airlines, cruise lines, etc. Everyday I am becoming less and less a loyalist and going where the getting is good!

Would you mind elaborating on what you thought was dated? Especially compared to the other 2 Freedom class ships.

Hey there! Sure, here is a quick list 1) carpet, art work, common spaces furniture and Android spaces have not been updated 2) lacking additional color, cabanas and seating options from an amped ship making her look a bit more plain on the pool deck 3) massive photo gallery where the others have a Playmakers (which i love) 4) gym equipment is much older and you can smell the difference somehow 🤷 machines still work fine though 5) staterooms on most Freedom ships are dated with a green or yellow couch (no a difference). At the end of the day, it can still be a great time and I have many wonderful cruises on Liberty. Just keep expectations in check that it isn't an "amplified or amped" ship or built within last 15 years.

Thank you for this video. As someone mentioned…it makes a world of difference seeing it on video. I am looking for a singles cruise or Christian singles (over fifty). I need to hopefully get one ASAP. I haven’t had much luck with my searches. I would appreciate any assistance you may have.

freedom has updates , but generally it’s the same ship .

Does the Windjammer have a hand washing station I didn’t notice it in this video

It does not! That was placed when the ships were amped and it has not been. They use hand sanitizer only upon entering. Def feels weird not to have sinks now.

We will be cruising on this ship shortly! All of the pictures of the Solarium are not enclosed. Is there a retractable roof they use when up north?

Hey Dawn, it does not have a retractable roof.... It doesn't get the breeze and the sun will warm it up but with an open roof, it can only do soo much.

Hi Brandon can you tell us the name of the band in Bolero lounge? Since you are there every weekend. Will be on Liberty in 2 months.

Hi Ildar! Liiberty has 3 main lunch options onboard. The first and easiest will be the buffet called Windjammer, the main dinning room (not open long and more of a sit down place) and Sorento's pizza. Not sure if the kids are picky but the pizza is pretty good!

Few more quick observations/queries: [1] How did you get to all of these spaces on a nearly-4,000 passenger ship at times with (almost) nobody inside them? Was this very early in the morning? [2] The beautiful arrangements of flowers in the chapel, were they artificial or real? [3] You showed the Suites Lounge and the Pinnacle Lounge; was there also a Diamond Lounge? [4] Do Pinnacle members get access to all of the lounges, even when they are not staying in Suites?

1) I am 110% not a morning person. I wait until around 11:30am while docked in CocoCay to ensure most folks have left. Never a fan of videoing people if I can help it. 2) have to assume the flowers are silk 3) Yes, Diamond and Suite lounge are both on deck 14. One starboard and one port side. 3) Answer here is it depends. Pinnacle lounge is only open when there is a high number of Pinnacles onboard. Traditionally, we have access to both diamond and suite lounges as Pinnacle members. But when we all show up, they remove the access to the Suite Lounge and open the Pinnacle Lounge. Never happens on a weekend sailing but when she was in Galveston, happened all the time.
