Liberalism: The Religion of the Twenty-First Century - Mohammed Hijab

On Friday 26 April 2019, our long-awaited event ‘Liberalism: The Religion of the Twenty-First Century’ took place at the VU University in Amsterdam (Netherlands). The day started with a beautiful recitation of a part of Surah Yusuf by Bilal el Bernichi (which you can find here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/iX2Lkpmgkq7Hpco.html). After a brief introduction, our main speaker Mohammed Hijab, began with his talk. In the first part, he focussed on the epistemological basis of liberalism: the first principles that form its foundation. We learned that the hedonistic principle, combined with utilitarianism formed the basis of this ideology: the philosophy that pleasure, for as many people as possible, is the highest good in life.
After an explanation about the epistemological basis of liberalism, Hijab talked about the history of liberalism. From the influences of John Locke and Immanuel Kant, all the way to one of the most essential products of liberalism: The Human Rights Declaration.
When the time came for a break, the visitors could enjoy the delicious Börek from Kara Firin. We were able to enjoy this Turkish delicacy and have a chat with others.
After the break, Mohammed Hijab continued his talk and compared liberalism with Islamic traditionalism using one of the most controversial case studies: legislation on apostasy.
The event ended with an interesting Q&A-session, and Mohammed Hijab received a gift from one of our sponsors: de Gouden Weef, a unique Dutch webshop that sells exclusive Islamic gifts.
We want to thank our hosts Aya Elyamany and Sinan Kula, our sponsor de Gouden Weef and the caterer Kara Firin. In particular, we would like to thank Mohammed Hijab, who has freed up his time, to make this event possible.

    • Consider two well-known hadiths from the anthologies of Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, considered to be the two most authentic collections of hadith. In one, Muhammad says, “I will expel all the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula and not leave any but Muslim" (Ref. Sahih Muslims Book 19, Hadith 4366). In another, he says, “I have been ordered to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah’s Messenger... then they save their lives and property from me" (Ref. Sahih al-Bukhari Vol. 4, Book 52, Hadith 196). These authentic hadiths are illuminating when trying to understand the Quran’s commands to kill polytheists (Quran Chapter 9.5) and fight Jews and Christians (Quran Chapter 9.29-30). Muhammad was fighting people for their beliefs, not for their actions, with the intent to expel or convert. • Muhammad cuts the hands and feet of a Muslim and puts fingers in their eyes. Tells Muslims to drink camel urine Source: sunnah.com/bukhari/76/9 Sahih al-Bukhari 5686 • Muhammad saying that whoever raises their head before the Imam, allah will transform their head into that of a donkey. Source: sunnah.com/bukhari/10/86 Sahih al-Bukhari 691 • Muhammad saying “I wish that I could be killed in the cause of Allah, then brought back to life, then be killed, then be brought back to life, then be killed then be brought back to life, then be killed.'” Source: sunnah.com/nasai/25/14 Sunan an-Nasa'i 3098 • Ali, the adopted Son of Muhammad burnt people alive - Source: sunnah.com/bukhari/56/226 Sahih al-Bukhari 3017 • Aisha being 6 years old, playing with dolls when she moved in with Muhammad. As for those from whom you fear disloyalty, admonish them, and abandon them in their beds, then beat them". The famous commentator Ibn Kathir commented on (Q. 4:34) saying:"Men are superior to women, and a man is better than a woman." The Quran in Surah 2 verse 282 says "And call in to witness two witnesses, men; or if the two be not men, then one man and two women, such witness as you approve of, that if one woman errs the other will remind her." WONDER WHY? Let's see what Muhammad said. "The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Isn't the witness of a woman equal to half of that of a man?" The women said, "Yes." He said, "This is because of the deficiency of a woman's mind." Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari 2658. • Islam is a stupid pagan cult. In Islam a book (quran) will come like a pale man on judgment day and intercede for Muslims. Muhammad said ""The Quran will come on the Day of Resurrection, like a pale man, and will say: 'I am the one that kept you awake at night and made you thirsty during the day." Reference: Sunan Ibn Majah 3781. A MERE BOOK made out of glue, ink and paper will come as a pale man on the day of judgment hahahha. Furtheremore, Muhammad said "Recite the Qur'an, for on the Day of Resurrection it will come as an intercessor for those who recite It. Recite the two bright ones, al-Baqara and Surah Al 'Imran, for on the Day of Resurrection they will come as two clouds or two shades, or two flocks of birds in ranks, pleading for those who recite them." Reference: Sahih Muslim 804 a. Not only will the Quran come on the day of judgement as a pale man but certain surahs will also come as clouds, shades or birds (allah doesn't know since he says 'or'). As if this wasn't enough to prove Islam to be a PEGAN cult, Muslims kissing a Blackstone believing it will erase their sins, they pray in the direction of a stone and go around it 7 times. Muhammad said: "Touching them (the blackstones) erases sins". Reference: Sunan an-Nasa'i 2919. IF THIS IS NOT PEGANISM I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS.

Follow the teachings of the Quran and Hadith. May Allah guide you and your family on the right path. Allah knows we Ahmadiyya are the true Islamic sect and the true followers of Mohammed SAW ummah. Mohammed SAW said my ummah will be divided into 73 sects, and 72 sects will be against 1. Alhamdulillah, all the 72 sects of Islam is against Ahmadiyya. The prophecy of our beloved prophet Mohammed SAW the seal of all prophets came true. Ameen. Allah indeed is Gracious and Merciful and may his mercy shine on Ahmadiyya. Ameen

The Suicidal Plain Yogurt Exactly. In addition to that, the Ahmadiyyas believe in the Quran and that Mohammed SAW isn't the last prophet which is a contradiction since the Quran says Mohammed is the seal of prophets. I agree with him that we can't say you’re a true Muslim and you’re not. However, I also can't say I believe that Allah is actually a Trinity and be a Muslim.

You see when you say Mohammed SAW is the seal of the prophets and interpret that as last of the prophet than it contradicts. We don't day his the last prophet than say a prophet will come in future. Ask the non-ahmadi to explain the second coming of Isa and Imam Mahdi? Will an Imam Mahdi come and not be a prophet? If Imam Mahdi comes and he says he's not a prophet we can deny him, there is no going against Allah in that regard. But if he comes and says he is a prophet than we can not go against it because then we will be the enemy of Allah. In Quran, Allah said, he who doesn't believe in Him, the Book, angels, prophets and the day of judgement is an enemy of me. May Allah guides us all.

When Quran states, that you have to die to be raised to life again and also there is clear evidence that no one can come from Heaven, so why would you say Isa AS is in heaven bodily and he will return bodily? Is it wrong to deny Imam Mahdi if he does not claim to be a prophet? or Is it wrong to deny a prophet? Where does it say in Quran that Isa will descend from Heaven on the shoulder of two angels? Make up your mind is Isa AS will be a prophet if he comes back or he won't because mainstream say he is not going to be a prophet upon his return? Don't try to explain it to us but rather explain it to your self and make up your. Love how he said that just because you are born a certain way..doesn't mean it is ok to "be that way." You'd be surprised how so few people nowadays understand this. With that logic, you're saying that if you are born with sociopathic tendencies, then it is ok to lie, cheat and manipulate. If you are born with the tendency to be overweight, then it is ok to stuff your face. Where do we draw the line? The people that are shoving the gay agenda down our throats in schools and work places don't seem to understand how destroying conventional gender roles is destroying families, they contend that they are not harming anyone. I don't know about you but I don't feel safe, nor would I feel safe about my daughter going to a restroom, and seeing a half man /half woman who so happens to be gender neutral (they just identify as female at that moment). There is a reason why marriage is divine institution. There is a reason why God set boundaries and clearly defined what is appropriate and what is not. As humans we do not know what is good for us, left to our own devices we just destroy things and act in self-interest without regard to anything or anyone else.

There are a lot of people that says that incest should be allowed now. There is one easy way to deal with this. Ask them if they would teach their children that if they have or had any. Ask them if they would want school to teach them that it is okay to have relationships with your siblings and would they encourage their children to have those kind of relationships if they found out at an early age? As Br. Hijab said, they are consistent with their morals, but there is always a limit to how consistent they are.

Quoting the hadith "Go you and your Lord and fight, and we're right here behind you". The real issue is we Muslims should get to know our own Din once again and bring light to the world as we already did in the past for more than a millennia while people were burning others at the stake, living like beasts or worshipping fantasies.
