In twd fall of the governor they are the antagonists. The woodbury people see them the same as we saw the hunters. Kind of like "we were chillin' and one day, one of us got mutilated" (in the comics there is no terminus, their 1st act is cutting dale's leg) so of course they wanted war, but tyreese got a word with lily before getting beheaded and made her see that they were just fighting back. All 4/5 Main villains secretly knew rick's group was on the right side

Despite all his bloodlust and madness, the Governor was not such a monster as ogre Gareth, rapist Joe, Alpha, mad dogs Beta and Simon, he still had humanity and the desire to create a society and a normal family with Lily. He wasn't as lost as the aforementioned creatures. The Governor is undoubtedly one of the best antagonists of the series with the most tragic fate, in my subjective opinion. Negan is also good, but it was Philip Blake who left an indelible impression as the most spectacular. THE GOVERNOR

@@Evaggelos1 Yeah well in the comics Governor r@pes michonne then michone tortures him in his apartment and breaks his testicels then breaks his bones then he somehow survives and attacks prison again then his new people understands that hes a pyschopat and they kill him and help barricade prison but we cant know for sure if they succeded to barricade.
