Watched the vid's. Wish I wasn't crippled (for real) and still surfed cause I reckon I'd have been very competitive at PI. It's a shame funding is so poor for kneeboarding comps cause I'd love to see comps in really good shaped and larger sized waves.

Thanks for your comment. Sorry about your injury. Did you see any of the South African Champs? This year it was held at JBay, 8ft walls. Kneeboarding is at a different levels of evolution in the different key countries. I am disappointed in what I see in Australia and United states from an organisation and event point of view. South Africa, while small in numbers play way above their size in the areas of contest durations (3 - 5 day contest windows for a 2 day event), venues (and therefore quality of waves) and contest structure (professional judges and live heat scores). We need to make kneeboarding sexy again. Get the body boarders converting, get media in people's faces, promote the personalities in the sport. That's one of the reasons why I created this channel.

@@kneeboardtorque5971 nope didn’t see it. I surfed SA back in the late 70’s … amazing empty perfection. I’ll search the net n see if I can find some footage of it👍
