Journey into the legendary life of great poet #LiBai (701-762) through the eponymous dance drama "Li Bai" produced by the China National Opera & Dance Drama Theater.
The dance drama reveals the inner world of poet Li Bai through the conflicting choices and trade-offs he made during key junctures in his life. The drama highlights Li's passion, talent and bold nature, and portrays the struggle between his devotion to contribute to the rule of the country and his wish to retreat and enjoy the beauty of nature.
The dance drama "Li Bai" will also bring to life the scenery, dance and music of the Tang Dynasty (618-907), showing typical artistic aesthetics from ancient China.
舞剧《李白》选取诗人李白生平的几个重要节点，通过他在“入世”与“出世”这个人生矛盾上的权衡和抉择，来揭示李白的内心世界。舞剧在李白的热情、才情和豪迈上予以了浓墨重彩的表现，着力刻画李白在家国情怀和寄情山水之间的心理挣扎。
舞剧还对唐代的风物和舞乐进行了探索，具有典型的中国文化意韵和美感。

Solitary Cloud Leisure is so splendid! It perfectly captures Li Bai's romamtic idealism. He belongs in magnificent nature, not a restrictive, cunning court. He is Li Bai.
As an ardent opera and classical dance fan, I’m totally at awe with CNODDT’s production of Li Bai. The brilliance of the storytelling is very powerful and intense and Hu Yang’s portrayal of Li Bai was powerfully displayed thru his masterful acting! No words could described how this piece of operatic work except divine n superbly sublime ❤️ Makes me so proud to be a Chinese.

His name is Hu Yang (胡阳), the principle dancer of Chinea National Opera and Dance Drama Theater. You can find more of his performance in our channel. He also played the leading role in dance drama Confucius, Orphan of Zhao and Soul of Sage. Here he demonstrates some of the basic skills of classical Chinese dance. 我觉得，旁白的字幕就是画蛇添足！只要舞剧在结构语言上以及表现形式上处理的好，何惧观众感受不到？看不明白？况且，旁白削弱了作品意象的美和意象的诗境。
盛唐完全嘅錯誤演譯，歷史資料搜集不到位 …… 全劇只高力士一人演出稱職。

这帮天桥叫好的观众好烦 鼓掌不够吗 就差吹口哨了。。。靠 还真有吹口哨的 。。。
只是顾着大气和叙事了，没有唐宫夜宴有趣

@@maymaysee7059 敦煌舞自成一个体系和风格，跟传统中国古典舞风格差异还是很明显的。而且舞剧还要完成讲故事的要求，太写意的话曲高和寡，就会很小众了。
