Feminists are sure going to hate this wonderful woman. Pity her words will be met with resistance, we truly have lost our identity as a people.

Feminists aren't a monolith and nor is feminism - it's a fallacy to to claim that feminists are going to hate this woman. She makes excellent points that need to be taken into account.

Black Feminism had robbed black woman of their feminine quality to where they no loner feel secure in their womanhood because it is rooted in lesbianism and misandry towards black men. It shows through their actions because we can see it through their actions because actions speak louder than words.

Great convoy...I’m with the doctor...her consciousness to the realty of the situation and differentiating between the European and African concept of “feminism” & patriarchy, it’s like a breath of fresh air. Thou o detest the term and designation of “feminism” (modern European construct) used to denote and describe her struggle and stance for (black African) women empowerment of which I’m very much an advocate

No women are not at the top. Women in culture are seen as equal importance as they roles played are important for children and there own relationship just like the male roles.

At the start of this segment, they mentions a young feminist poet. The anchor is reading her poem. What is her name? Can someone please help me 🙈 The anchor does name her but I'm unable to register it.

This TV host seems to be triggered by her guests first statement.. Lol she immediately switched to defense mode and talked for min nonstop trying to frame her guests mind in the context of modern feminism as is known to her. Guess she wasn't expected this.

I was thinking the same. Instead of seeking wisdom from u mama, she is defending nonsense. Rural women have never been given a choice to self determine and self define themselves in all the eras of pre-col, during -col and post -col. It amazes me how feminists want to generalize this issue just because it involves woman.

Dr is very much romanticising the pre colonial times when it comes to African Feminism, apart from praising the position of women during the pre colonial times she is very much portraying an image that it was all good and fun for women during the pre colonial times which is very much false.

I fully agree with you, sexism did not come on a boat with the colonialists they found it here. This does not mean colonialism did not in some way shape our sexist beliefs or the patriarchal society we live in now but acting like everything was rosy before is just false.
