The Frigidaire washers from the 50s would spin at 1140 rpms for both the rinse and final spin. I have one and use it daily. Cleanest clothes ever..

The Chime Is Awesome! I Have A Whirlpool Washer That Buzzes Loudly At End Of Cycle, And A Samsung Dryer That Sings At End Of Cycle.

Yes, Washing machines cannot reach 18,000 rpm that high rpm was the limit for F1 cars from 2002 to 2013

All right... Had a fairly twisted dream about this exact washer last week? I was on a special-ed bus heading home from secondary school, and after the last special student was dropped off (before me), something fairly sedistic happened? The bus engine now sounded like the transmission in this very washer! Needless to say I was struck speechless (as if the bus had gone full electric vs. regular diesel fuel). My face lit up the whole way home to the old house, especially on Hillsborough Avenue where we could really rocket at full RPM - and then some! (final spin, anyone?) Just before we got to my street intersection, tears were in my eyes because of the experience. I totally enjoyed it! I really like looking for washers that sound like this (or have other interesting spin motor sounds that stand out.

The older LG top load models sound like this. Also, the GE harmony models which were the early versions of the waveforce machines also make this noise. The first version of this washer actually came out in 2003 and the model was wpgt9150, branded by GE. When LG became confident they released an updated version of it in 2010 (1st gen waveforce models). They changed the motor around 2015 and they sounded different since then.. We have a wt7100cw and it makes the old style motor noise even though most of their new top loads don't anymore. I like it but the motor is really loud and can be heard with the door closed

This is so fast, we just had an earthquake.

Unfortunately it's not 1800rpm, 1800rpm is extremely fast, it was only 1000rpm.

I have a 1400rpm, and because of the high speed bearings are damaged frequently and expensive to replace

Pick a number between 100 and 100,000. That’s how many G’s those clothes are pulling

Check your washer to see if you have a Hose Clamp or Glue on the inbound side of the discharge pump. If so, that is not a factory connection. There is not supposed to be any Glue or Hose Clamps on anything according to LG. Most of the LG washers had to be reconditioned, then sold as new. The hose is 2 inches too short and the travel of the tank, to offset a lopsided load, will one day rip that hose off. I repaced 12" of drywall in my washroom. Contact the FTC.

That wasn't No 1800 rpm I can tell you that right now because if that the same washer that I have and mine doesn't even spin that fast and that wasn't No 1800 Rpm at all that was only a 1000 rpm and as far as I know Lg don't make top load washers that spins 1800 rpm maybe front loaders but Not top loaders they don't.

I just watched a dishwasher do its cycle for 30 mins
