The design is different , but this seems the closest so far... I see a " lock nut " and an "adjust nut" on a pressed steel flat "arm" connected to a plastic I'm sure there is a proper word... but it's a single "tooth" that rides inside of a plastic gear on the drive shaft of agitator ... When turned it makes a clicking ratchet sound when turned and even louder in the opposite direction a quick ratchet sound is normal when a washing machine is beginning a cycle but this goes on during most of the "wash" cycle. It sounds horrible and disharmonious .... like if not corrected it will cause serious damage... it seems like it is about to stop sometimes but comes back and never completely goes away. A normal machine will run silent except when beginning a cycle... normally just a quick ratchet sound at beginning of a cycle. The plastic gear and all the components look new and no visible wear or shavings from gear teeth....Can you offer any insight ? It is a Panasonic 13 kg Automatic washing machine. It is only about a year old and is otherwise in very good condition... I got it second hand and I suspect former owners OVERLOADED it which is common... like using far too much laundry detergent. I am not a millionaire I sure hope I can solve this problem... Thank you
