Hi, for this washing machine on a standard wash cycle, can you see if the water is entered and released at least three times during the cycle.

Do you find it provides more than enough water during wash cycle?

I’ve come around to being impressed with LG’s front loaders over the past several years, with the recirculator pump being a big selling point for me, along with having nice bright interiors. I love Whirlpool, but they’ve been cheaping out a lot lately, and they insist on their front loaders and dishwashers being as dark as black holes inside for some reason with all the mirror-finish stainless and the black/dark grey plastic, and that’s even with having interior lighting. One of my big questions for these machines is, does the TurboWash pump kick on during the rinse at all, so that the soapy water is flushed at least once with rinse water? That’s another concern I’ve had after a family member got a newer model Cabrio. It would only use the recirculator during the wash, so over time the wash basket would get a terrible residue from never being rinsed down with clean water afterwards. That’s something I never had to worry about with my previous gen Cabrio/BravosXL, which used the recirculator for both wash and rinse, and also kept itself pristine as a result. My concern is the same for the tubing and nozzles being rinsed out in this LG. A bonus question, does this washer have a balance ring? I notice it has a lot more vibration in the drum during spin than I’m used to with my current Whirlpool Duet Alpha which has duel balance rings, so that’s something that’s also a factor for my next choice.

Thanks for your comment :). It is quite erratic with the jet, it will use it on all the wash cycles but sometimes it will recirculate on all rinses, other times on the final, and other times not at all. I’ve not quite figured out what causes the “AI” to decide when to use it or not in rinsing, as load size doesn’t seem to be a factor from what I’ve noticed. This doesn’t have a balance ring (that’s a very rare thing on front loaders here), but it does have quite hefty suspension which copes with out of balance loads. Sometimes copes too well in a way as it will let a lot of loads spin unbalanced which can cause it to be quite noisy at times, but I guess that’s still better than messing around trying to balance for a spin.

What's your noisest wash ? What is the perfect washer in all aspects (wash, rinses, water level, consumption, noise, app connect) ?

Isn’t the 60 degree wash misleading then? I tried the same program on my washer the max temp was only 44 degrees😮😮

That's the only reason why I don't own new LG(I have older one with NFC Tag on). Its heating is about nothing. You select 40°C and it heats 28°C max.

How do you find the cleaning results of turbowash? The instructions are a mess. In old versions, full load is supposed to wash best at cotton eco+intensive and half loads at intensive 60.

Do you have any idea why LG's sound so mechanical like a rough 'knocking' sound that can be heard in this video? More so In the final spin. My 2 year old LG sounds worse than this. Just curious as to what you suspect it might be? Is this noisier than the Samsung Autodose you had?

These new ones actually heat to 65. When he checked it the water had probably cooled down because it hadn't heated for a while.

Hey :) they don’t I’m afraid - just the steam cycles and the option. You can only steam if you use 60° too. The wrinkle care option works on most cycles though, which steams clothes after the final spin

Quit using all that horrible scented shit and fabric softener. You're ruining your clothes and your health. Also, doesn't using pods defeat the purpose of turbowash? Since the pods are going to take way longer to dissolve, it's going to miss the initial turbowash sprays used to coat the clothing in the detergent-water solution.

The pods dissolve within a few seconds of being agitated, you can see the water is already foaming when the jets turn on during the fill. Laundry products are all a personal choice 👍🏻
