LG V10 F6V1009BTSE Turbowash 360 - Easy Care 60° full load (full length video)

This is the full length Easy Care programme on the LG. Easy Care by name but not by nature - it’s one of the worst easy care/synthetic programmes I’ve encountered. First it is far too long at almost three hours. Secondly, it is identical to the cottons programme and doesn’t prevent creasing at all - it even defaults to 1600rpm. Thirdly, there is no cooldown after a hot wash. And finally, drum movements and spinning is far too harsh and is no good at all for anything but sturdy fabrics.
One upside is that on the full length cycles it does actually heat to temperature. However if it senses a smaller load it won’t and will only heat to about 42°.
Usually I only use this programme for bedding rather than a mixed load so will tend to sense at around 1:30-1:40 - but that’s for another video.
Enjoy!

I just bought this model of washing machine and I have a question if the washing smells like fabric softener after taking it out, because I read opinions that people are disappointed that, unfortunately, I do not feel anything

that's true, we have an LG Turbo Wash, when it finishes washing and we remove the clothes it smells like fabric softener, but when the clothes are dry the smell disappears I don't know why, and when you go to iron it smells like boiled , which is horrible, and we recently got a 12Kg AI Samsung and the clothes smell like fabric softener just like LG but when it dries the smell stays on the clothes which is impressive I think, as a different brand makes a completely different result , I honestly don't understand 😅

My dad is upgrading. Would this LG be better than his old indesit innex?

Almost anything is better than indeshit. Due to their drum exploding and fire problems.

Tell dad tide bleach plus, or persil hygiene powder for main wash and persil color for prewash. Liquids dissolve and weaken fabric, powders don't degrease as much as liquids do, but they don't dissolve and tear the fabric. Prewash cotton cycle is best.

@@lieferal4984 And where did you get that from? I had indesit that was quite old (not one of the oldest) and no fires and no drum explosions, even with full load of towels.

My bosch's cotton cycle is way more delicate than this also shorter. This cycle is too much even for durable fabrics

So when it detects full load on Easy Care, the cycle becomes a Cottons cycle? Or is it still like a Cottons cycle anyway?

The Easy Care cycle is basically just cottons with slightly different timings. There’s no difference at all in how the laundry is treated, it’s very rough and spins too harshly

Modern machines don't have good easy care cycles 🙈 my AEG isn't much better than your LG. They should use more water, gentler tumbles and of course better spin cycles to reduce creasing

You shouldn't fill your machine in easy care. Synthetics need to be washed at 1:20 ratio. 68÷20=3.4kg max. You can see these limits in the manual, too.

I was really hoping that LG would have sorted out that horrible rattle sound on the spins. I'm surprised your machine is making this noise and its still quite new. I had one n 2018 and that started it after 1 year old. I got rid of it and now the one I have in my flat that I got in March 2019 started after 1 year and 6 months old. Its on smaller or light loads it sounds like a tractor in my flat. On heavy loads is smoother, though its never been a smooth spinning machine. I have noticed a few machines on KZread suffering from noisy suspension when spinning. I just put up with it now, but not sure I will want LG again.

The rattling is the least it my problems with this machine 🤣. I think it’s a fun machine don’t get me wrong, and a future collectible machine but as an everyday machine the programming and lack of flexibility just does not suit me. It is also not very good at soaking down the load despite the jets - it will sometimes leave dry patches on larger loads even after a long cycle!

@@TheWashHouse You know what, that’s really surprising to hear lol. I don’t have any issues with soaking on mine. I hear people moaning about the shallow paddles on these with small loads it’s rubbish at agitating and tumbling. I have to say I’m disappointed by the feedback you gave and I think I won’t go for LG next time. I don’t like the rattle but like you say, it’s least of your worries, I too would be more concerned by the poor soaking. I do like your Siemens machine!! Maybe I should consider one of those when my LG gives up. Though it’s going strong apart from the rattle, which I can live with.

The Wash House, you shouldn't be loading the manufacturer's specification if you want it to clean properly. It has a 68Lt tub divide it by 12 - you can only wash 5.6kg laundry of cotton if you want proper cleaning. You know the ratio for cotton is 1 over 12?
