Hidpi is great, however default resolution is best. 1440p is the exact size I want my text and interface personally. Been using a 21:9 lg for years now with my m1 mac
Is this a good monitor to use with a m1 MacBook Pro 14? Are there any issues with it? I’m mainly using it for coding and school purposes. It’s currently on sale for $400 on LG official website.

What is the exact brightness rating
Hey! I bought this monitor a while ago and I didn't really find the quality that good while gaming. I'm using the custom settings and I feel like thare are excessive details or contrast in the picture quality (I only notice that while gaming).. I don't know if you have the same problem. Nice video btw !

Try to reset the monitors settings and test the another available picture profiles.

It’s not for gaming. It’s a monitor for productivity. 5ms and 60hz 10 bit color etc. Ofc you can game on it but it’s a budget ultra wide for work
do you have an M1 Mac? Is the text/icons crisp and clear? I just bought an older version of the LG ultrawide and the text/icons are slightly blurry which I find very annoying. Would you recommend this monitor for a Mac user who doesn't game but just wants the display to be as clear as possible?

I would mostly recommend this Monitor for Windows and Gaming, for Mac users I think other LG's are better.
