The fact you’re better than LG customer service is blowing my mind. Thank you so much man. Soon as I plugged it in it started updating which let me know it worked.

I was very skeptical that this would fix my connection problem, because I had this TV for 3+ years and hadn't had any problems before. Then suddenly my connection would drop or I just couldn't connect at all (would show no available networks). This started occurring every time I tried to stream something. But after watching this video, I took the back off the TV, and sure enough all the wires that he shows had big crimps in them. I straightened them the best I could and (knock on wood) I haven't had any issues since. Amazing hack. Thank you!

Y'all, this actually works! My husband did NOT want to take the TV off the wall but I talked him into it. We un-crimped the wires and now the wifi works. Thank you S P F!

LG is disgusting… used to love the brand but NEVER again. The fact that they tell us to bring receipt and take it to their dealer instead of walking us through how to fix this. They are aware of this universal malfunction. Ban LG!!!!

If anyone is contemplating doing this or getting a new TV, DO THIS!!! I just did about 5 minutes ago and so far so good. Longest my TV has stayed connected in months, thank you thank you thank you!!!!! My advice is to use a flat head screw driver to pry open the back of the TV (actually way harder than it seems), and also use knife or box opener to remove tape that tapes the wires together, causing them to bend.

This is crazy but THIS WORKED. I have a LG 55" tv and could not get the Wifi past the Not Connected stage. I spent a total of 5 hours on the phone with LG Lifes Good, Netflix and Spectrum and got no where. Searched the heck out of the internet only to come up with nothing. Came across this video and while I was reluctant to pull the back off the tv thinking there is no way a bent wire can actually be the problem, I did it and found the bent wire. Straightened it out and BOOM the TV found my wifi connection. I cant thank you enough (neither can my wife) This was a huge level of frustration you solved for me. Thanks SO much.

We have been wrestling with the Wifi disconnection issue for months, but now it was getting impossible to connect at all. We tried all the other options suggested by LG (unplugging, rebooting Wifi, etc.) but nothing worked satisfactorily. We were afraid to attempt taking the TV off our wall and taking the back of the TV off as we had read about, but your video was very easy to see, understand taking away our fear. So - we did it - and it works!! Thank you so much!

You’re a god among men! If you’ve tried the unplug and re plug, and factory resetting your tv, you’ll be happy to be able to input all your passwords again after opening it up and unkinking the Wi-Fi wires to get it working again, you’re great, thank you for the tutorial 😎✌🏼

Alright to make this short it my issue is resolved thanks to this man right here. I can't believe that something so obvious was avoided by others but thank you again for this amazing video. I had to do this same this except I didn't have to straighten out the wires, I just reconnected the wifi cable into the motherboard. Unplug it then plug it back in and it worked when I started it back up, almost instantly.

Dude, you helped fix my TV. Ive checked multiple different videos and nothing worked and came across yours and decided why not. I straightened(flattened) the two different connections and it finally connected after years of trying to figure this out(UH6100). The one thing I noticed was how sloppy the wires were put in running all over eachother unnecessarily in weird directions. Thank you so much man!

My tv has been like this for over 3 years. I have a LG webos tv uj6300 and i heard it was several $100 to get it repaired. I gave up on the Tv until I saw this video. Thanks for this video. I managed to fix my lg sk8100pla. It actually fixed three issues with my LG smart tv. 1. the sound used to drop out when watching videos via my usb hard drive. 2. I can now connect to the tv by wifi. 3. My remote control on screen pointer is no longer disconnecting.
