Well I'm still rocking the Stylo 2 so there's that :D. I'm trying to figure out if the Stylo 4+ or Stylo 5 is the way to go though. Can't see a solid reason why Boost would sell the 4+ for $20 more, but the fact that they are doing so is keeping me from commiting to the 5.

Omg, boost Mobile also has the (sorry not sorry) shittier phones >:( I have VERY overly controlling parents and am forced to choose between the a20 and stylo 5 because of it, I would prefer iPhone tho. Like, my friends have all these cool different types of phones (for example the samsung a7 and a5) WHICH is just a little bit more money for a WAAYYYY better phone!!

I bought the Stylo 4 for me and my husband for graduation presents from college. if this is all the difference between 4 and 5 I'll stay with my "outdated one" and wait for Stylo 6 or 7

I guess they went back with the same material for the back as they did on the first 3 that grey silver look. I liked the black color but hated how it scratched so bad.

I like the look of the Stylo 4 and 5 bezels. They remind me of the S8 and S9 look. I do hope they have a bezeless look at or a LG G7 look for the Stylo 6.

I'm still okay with top and bottom bezels on phones so long as the side bezels are thin.

I have a question for you. I can't seem to get an answer anywhere. When I go to settings, storage, files, at the very top it displays my phone model but for some reason as of the last few days after the phone model is (FGN) Do you know what FGN stands for or what it is? Is it some kind of malware? Thanks

this video never mentioned about the audio I'd the stylo 4 and 5. to me I believe that should be explained as well. when it comes to good clear audio, the lg stylo series still have a long way to go.

In your next video could you see if the lg stylo 5 fits in a stylo 4 case I wonder if it would fit. Even tho I think that microphone on thr bottom is moved over a tad.

Thats nothin. In the dead of summer in Phoenix, Az it can be up to 120-130 degrees

I'm on my lunch break because it's 109 degrees at my workplace, and then this video was recommended for me on my Stylo 4.

So it’s the exact same thing? They couldn’t give it a slightly higher pixel density and tiny processor speed increase so it at least looks like they tried?

Appreciate the quick comparison Kevin. Yeah pretty much what a lot of us suspected. Very disappointing.

I have the tylo4 for a yr now i like it alot, i have no problem with it it works great

When i bought the 5 more than half of my space was gone on gigabytes 19Gb was gone already and you can't move apps to your SD card only photo and video 🤔

@Kevin Breeze, most Stylo 4s feature the 1.5 GHz not 1.8 GHz. I realize they list the 1.8 as the default, but if you look at what is being sold, Virgin, Boost both are shipping the 1.5 version, not sure what the rest are. Both of theirs also come with 2 GB RAM not 3 GB as is listed in the phone specs as default. Boost is additionally selling a Stylo 4+ that they list as having the 1.5 GHz processor but with 3 GB RAM. Interestingly they are selling that for $20 more than the Stylo 5 despite the fact that the 5 has the newer OS and a better processor. Not sure what is going on with these naming schemes and multiple device configurations. It's getting confusing trying to sort out what one actually gets with a phone. Phone Arena lists the specs for the Stylo 4 you do in your video, but then you go to the sellers website and the specs are all reduced.

Kevin, the Stylo 4 can be expanded up to 2TB as well

Hey Kev. I have stylo 3 running ok . I'm not impressed with the 5 except for 9 pie . with pre loaded apps I'm still getting 16gb of internal storage. Ugh

Can you still make the gif from cam? Dual window? I like to use KZread and Twitter the same time on rotate. Image edit? Like to crop images with the pencil icon when you look at the image in gallery. I have stylo 2 btw most people seem to have stylo 4 but I need an upgrade and I been waiting in the 5 since I love the stylo2+ minus the fact that it's slow. Lack of ram and all that. What about the app drawer Can you still change the loop of the apps to any image? What about screenshots? The stylo 2 lets you put the screenwriting app thing next to your home app does this as well???

I had a LG stylo 4 but it was to heavy an bulky with cases on it recently stopped working so I upgraded to LG stylo 5 I absolutely love it better have a case on it super light feeling not bulky which I like I have straight talk brand!!

got the 5 from boost mobile yesterday love it so far. to me it looks better then the 4. 😍📱

I had the Stylo 4 when I was on Metro PCS and yeah the Stylo 4 isnt too much different then the Stylo 5 but I'm currently on Sprint and chose the Stylo 5 mainly bc when switching to Sprint the Stylo 5 was only $35 needed up front, but I'm thinking about going with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+.

Its made of gorilla glass 3 both of em. no need sreen protector but if you wish too made for scratch resisitant but can deal alittle of drop

I like both of them but the 6 is solid! Glass frame, stylus pops out and the p35 media tek Helio is a reasonable step up from the snapdragon 450. Just because it's a snapdragon doesn't mean it is great. Great video once again Kevin Breeze!!!! 💜

I don't think you can buy the 4 with Metro anymore. My 4 is dying. Headphone jack basically dead. I have to put pressure on my usb port to get it to charge. Is LG bad with the ports. Should I just get the 5 since I need a new phone or just get the a20? I play Darkness Rises and Alliance vs Empire. Both pretty decent havey 3d games. They played fine on stylo 4. A20 would probably be better

Moto G7 power is the better buy. It has the snapdragon 632 processor & 3gb of ram. no bloatware and android pie for less than $200. Its also much snappier. The 720p screen is very vibrant and well calibrated. Most people wouldn't even know that it's not a 1080p screen. LG ought to be ashamed of themselves. They don't give damn about us the consumer. A total disgrace.

@@Jdogg4089 will you be looking at both at the same time all the time? I'd rather have the 720p screen with a better processor than a 1080p screen with an outdated trash processor. I held the Moto G7 power in my hand and played with it about an hour ago and it looks beautiful. The fact that LG would do this is a disgrace and the're depending on people stupid enough to by it. LG could have offered us the SAME 632 processor and at least 4gb of ram IF THEY WANTED TOO. you'd better off buying the Samsung Galaxy A30, The Umidigi F1 play, and other phones that are MUCH better for the same price or less. The just don't bank on us buying from Amazon or B&H photos, or Swappa for devices. Who would be dumb enough to buy the Stylo 5

@@Jdogg4089 MOto G7 has more feature can record 4k with a snap dragon 632 vs 450 can do timelapse even low light which lg stylo tend to lose light. Only good thing about the LG has a better display screen but one thing I hate about l gStylo 4 and 5 there video recording at 1080p looks crap and I like 1080 yes but it looks like shot from a 720p video recording. I use to have LG stylo 4+ replace it for the LG G7 and I honestly say QHD+ with 4k recordin and a snapdragon 821 is amazing phone faster and lighter.

i got a stylo 5 after my stylo 2 died but i dont have the button on the bottom on the right to show my recent apps i used and i used to love that button i cant figure out how to get it back ! honestly i dont see much difference from 2 to 5 except the price

SET HOME TOUCH BUTTONS: Swipe down from the Notification bar > select the Settings icon > Display tab > Home touch buttons > Button combination > select and drag the desired option to the desired location. On this phone you have to swipe up from the bottom to display these buttons at any moment in whatever app

this helped a lot. now the lg stylo 4 is the best phone offered by safelink (pretty much an Obama phone) and there's a 50$ difference from the stylo 4 from the stylo 5. but what for??? its literally the same phone. thanks for saving me 50 bucks!!

11:10 one two three go you actually tapped the Stylo 5 just a bit before the Stylo 4 and yet the Stylo 4 was still faster to load Yahoo.

If you have the 4 trust me do not upgrade. I upgraded through Boost because my stylo 4 broke and the stylo 5 was only $10 more on sale. It's identical but may be just a tad faster. Idk. But it's pretty much the same phone. No need to upgrade if your phone works fine. I got my stylo 5 (2-3 months ago) for $159.99 I believe plus a percentage off for the sale like $10-15 off it came out to be.
