Can you please check, if you input a 5.1 Dolby digital audio, how the 3.1.2 channel soundbar handle the output audio? Whether it will downmix 5.1 audio to 3.1 or it will upmix 5.1 to 3.1.2? Are you hearing sound from up-firing speakers when a non-atmos audio is played? Please check that with different soundmode. Also, is there any 2.1 to 3.1.2 conversion mode available? When you play music, sound comming from all 5 speakers?

I guess it will downmix to 3.1. .2 will work when there is atmos signal.

Are there any issues with Wifi network because of this soundbar? I have heard since it connects with the subwoofer using 5 GHz, it causes issues with Wifi connectivity with other devices.

Performance is no doubt good. Not sure 2023 lg has released something or not. Mic works with alexa & google goke.

LG SP8YA (foreign country) support rear speakers.. In video, this model is SP8A (Indian model) doesn't support rear speakers... Rear speakers are compatible which include 'Y' in model name.

Samsung q800b has good sound over lg sp8a also samsung q800b will show sound format like Dolby digital Plus Dolby Atmos but in lg sp8a i am getting only Dolby audio in soundbar display But one major thing samsung q800b soundbar has hanging problem .intially i bought q800b which hangs evry 1.5 hr and on you tube I found some users also had the same problem . So bought lg sp8a and till now no issue in connection.

@@siddharthadutta56 mine is not showing however samsung soundbar has shown this but lg is not .contacted service center they had taken video and photo and forwarded to noida factory . One thing is also I have connected this soundbar with premium hdmi2.1 cable .dialogues are very low till 13 it kicks in between 15 to 20 but in samsung q800b sound is great even on 10 However q800b is 5.1.2 and lg is 3.1.2 soundbar
