LG Sidekick Pedestal Washer One Towel Test Rinse+Spin Cycle

This video was requested by user Leena Barbary who requested to see the one towel test on my lg sidekick. I hadn't heard of this test until now, but here's my best guess at what it is!

I think you should put the Calypso in place of the Miele once it's sold. If you can find one. Try to get yourself a Maytag Neptune TL or a Fisher&Paykel Aquasmart. That thing has the fastest turnover of an Impeller I have seen. Even faster than the Kenmore Elite Oasis.

update: here's how everything went. LG sold, Miele sold, I still have the direct drive and calypso. Miele was replaced by a stacked LG 24" wide set, with a condenser dryer. Direct drive was replaced by another LG Front load set, but it's the 6700 series. And the original LG was replaced by the speed queen hardmount.

@@dregenius the reason why they've been using that design for so many years is that it WORKS. People complain that companies "fix" things that work fine yada yada. That dryer system has worked so well that they haven't stopped using it. In my eyes that is quality, and it's smart. True but some features are new even if the base is 60+ years old. such as the electronic controls. A lot of companies do that though. Ford will use the same F150 powertrain, frame, and body for 6+ years and make changes to the grille, headlights, and dashboard just to say it's "new"
