I need help my lg remote control is just glowing red on the power button. I have tried changing the batteries. I can use the pointer normally and swith programms with the wheel but I can't turn it on or off or use the numbers or anything else on the remote.

This method works for me and is faster than hard-booting the LG TV. But I have to perform the reset every 5 to 10 minutes lately (especially when using KZread app for some reason)! Why does "magic" remote fail so often and are there any fixes?
