Thank you for the comparison. I'm an LG fan, since the Optimus G. Never had a bad LG phone. 5 Optimus G's, 7 G pro's (me & relatives) a G pro 2, V10, 2 G3's, 5 V20's and now the V40. I skipped the V 30 & 35. I thought about getting a G7. A seller I buy from on E-bay has a mint, almost new one for $125.

Did you experience wifi issues when you updated the G7 to Android pie, mine will occasionally disconnect from wifi.

@@sichiweza9152 don't upgrade to pie. Upgrades aren't always what they're cracked up to be if they break things that were working. Before just hitting the upgrade button, I always do research on what the new features are. Personally, I hated that they moved the clock to the left side in Pie. "Oh, let's just move the clock from one side to the other and it looks like an upgrade". I just got a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ last week. There an update to Android 10, but several people on KZread said that they had some issues after upgrading, so I'm not going to install it. I had an issue with the essential phone when it upgraded to pie. Wi-Fi was actually disabled and would not work. I flashed it back and forth between 8 & 9 about 4 times. Luckily, I found a poster on KZread that had a fix for it. It involved flashing an image with TWRP, but it worked. Good luck with your Wi-Fi woes.

7:02 if the g7 and v40 have the same cpu why did the g7 destroy the v40 at antutu? G7 was about 20% faster

No, V40 is more powerful because V40 got around 294,000 antutu benchmark points and G7 got only around 214000 antutu benchmark points. V40 got bigger screen; but more expensive.

LG MANUFACTURE THIS SAME PHONES.. COSMETIC CHANGES AND NEW MODEL... the cameras is cosmetic programing change ,in g7 posproces is blurred and oversharped lg is screw this and this is only diferent
