Dishwashers are very user friendly. dishwasher use maximum 400/- worth of electricity, salt, detergent and Rinse Aid in a month. You can simply remove food from the plates and place them in dishwasher but in such a case you will have to clean the filters every month. If you rinse the plate before placing it in the dishwasher, it's filters and spray arms will NEVER require cleaning. Dishwasher gives you sparkling clean utensils, which are 100% dry. Dishwasher use less than 1/3 water as compared to hand cleaning.

LG is a very formidable dishwasher. it's built quality is very good and it has very good capacity to wash utensils. I had bought LG in October 2019 but returned it with full refund (After long legal steps). Reason for return was simple. When power goes in mid of a cycle, the cycles does not start from the last stage but get unduly extended. If there were more than one power outage, the wash cycle got extended for even longer duration. While dealing with this particular problem, I came across some complaints about failure of heater in dishwasher. Luckily, my dishwasher also suffered with heater failure problem. As LG has 2 years warranty, I took steps to return it after using it for around 15 months. Page 24 of the LG manual specifically says that in event of power failure, the cycle would restart from the last stage but it never happened. I went on to buy a dishwasher, which I presume has matchless features. It was Voltas Beko DF14S2. It did cost me 38000/- (Saving 10000/- as compared to LG). Voltas Beko has rare inverter motor (like LG), which saves energy to great extent. None of the cycle in Voltas use more than one unit of electricity. Voltas has matchless 4 sprays. One revolving spray at the top of the dishwasher, second spray, below the upper rack, third spray below the lower rack and a fourth spray (called - Aqua Intense) below the third spray. Aqua Intense spray pushes hot water jets with 5 times the normal power o clean any type of utensil with toughest stains. Voltas comes with 10 years warranty on dishwasher and 12 years warranty on motor. Voltas has 38 very helpful cycles which clean utensils very nicely. If your city has dependable power supply, you can continue with LG, a very formidable dishwasher.

I have recently bought a dishwasher. It is a waste for Indian cooking. I have 14 plate one and I can just fit one pressure cooker and one milk cooker. I use a 5 ltr pressure cooker for dal and rice and a 2 ltr pressure pan for sabzi and mixie jar for chutney. You can't put mixie jar inside dishwasher wnd I can fit only one pressure cooker. I have still get my maid to was half the vessels.
