LG 70LB6560 TV wasn't manufactured with enough memory

... or enough processing power, in my opinion. This video shows what happens when I try to play a half-hour program that I recorded last night. On about my 4th attempt, I was able to start watching this program this morning. I am now trying to watch the remainder, and I have tried to start "continue watching" 4 times now, but so far LG's Time Machine app hasn't managed to do it, and keeps giving the message "This app will now restart to free up more memory".
I've done everything that LG have told me with this TV. I record to a 1TB hard disk that has never been connected to any other device, and am using the current version of the firmware (although there's no way I would ever set it to update the firmware automatically).
I ended up reporting this deficiency to LG on 26 September 2016, but I haven't heard back from them yet. I mentioned it when I called LG about another matter with this TV, and they said that the case has been escalated to the relevant specialists. I hope they are able to come up with something that enables the TV to function properly.
Awwwwwwww what a shame this TV doesn't quite work.

    My tv is LG43UH610v and same problem. What is the name of your model? How did you solve the issue? I am thinking about bringing it back.

    Model 70LB6560.TA. I didn't solve the issue.. The issue has not happened for a few months. I suppose it is possible that one of the firmware updates (which I only do if I am trying to solve a particular problem) addressed the error. I would take my TV back for a refund if I had the option. I've had it for too long, though - 2½ years.
