This is an OUTSTANDING video.... it not only teaches you what steps are needed to make the right settings...it helps you to navigate through all of the variable setting options...and how to use them. I have had a number of tv's in my days but none with these many options.... Classy takes you through most of them and makes suggestions along the way. GREAT JOB, Classy!
Very helpful video, thanks for the great effort. Just a suggestion, you might try to slow down a bit with jumping in the menus to match the narration, most of the time you're one step ahead and we have to pause and rewind constantly :)

Just got my lg c2 this week. Played the vid at half speed…vid was very helpful thank you!
Was waiting for this video, thank you! Went from A80J to a C2 for gaming.
I'm planning to get 1 this month after spending the next few years using a old samsung tv from 2013 which only supported 1080p, I'm glad I saw this video.
Picking up the C2 tomorrow. Really excited.
Nicely Done. If you are using a cable box/apple tv/amazon tv4k do you just bypass the built in tv channels at the beginning of the set up ? Or is the on board channels to get to apple tv and amazon better quality ? Thanks in advance

Great video. I have a few questions regarding this amazing smart tv. I just bought a LG OLED48C2PUA just over Thanksgiving. My questions are these: 1. I have some legacy equipment VHS, Hi8, and Laser disc player. Can I dedicate an HDMI switcher to connect this players. Of course, I will need both RCA for VHS and Laser Disc player, and an SVHS to HDMI converters. Do I need to change the TVs HDMI settings. Do you recommend any particular aftermarket vendors for this equipment. 2. Should I connect a cable box via the coaxial connectors, how is this seen in the TVs input menus…. Live TV? I realize that these are less quality sources. 3. I have A Sonos sound bar attached as a HDMI arc. I also have a receiver with attached to front and back high end ceiling speakers… legacy Bang and Olefson. Can I get the external speakers work when the sound bar hdmi arc is chosen or must I switch to TV speakers with external via optical or audio coaxial? Again, some of this may be counter intuitive as far as ultimate sound quality but “just askin.” Thanks again!!!!
Just got the 77 myself very happy with it so far after a small time messing around, but will try this as I have obviously missed a lot so this is very useful, many thanks again and all the best.
Just what I need. Mine is coming today, thanks for the upload
Thanks Classy. It is going to take some time to go through all of these settings and find what looks the best. However you really helped with one concept I did not understand. That is that all the items like cinema and cinema home are just presents and that there is a set of these for each kind of input. That at minimum gives me a starting point to see where I can go. No other setup video I say explained this clearly. One question, I am using my c2 with the LG 8YG sound bar. Is there anything special I need to do to get the best sound(ATMOS?).
These videos are always useful, even if you are aware of most of what is discussed. One thing I will say about the “screen move” setting: people may want to consider using this as it helps combat image retention. With this setting ON, every so often, the tv will periodically move the entire image across the screen by a marginal amount. It’s barely noticeable and helps to prevent image retention.

Great explanation off everything..keep up the good job and thank you. Second… I have an LG oled C2 77 inch..and I also do own the 2 consoles that are out now, the ps5 and Xbox series x. On both when they are on the game optimiser from LG is automatic selected. I’ve did all the settings correct but when I go to aspect ratio , under just scan it says auto and it’s greyed out.. and I cannot change this.. this is on the pa5 but also on the Xbox series X. Do you maybe have an idea why is the just scan greyed out only in game optimiser mode and only on the consoles? And also if it’s related to the just scan issue, but the screen sometimes has a little bit of the right edge from top to bottom where the pixels are turned of, and then after a time it moves to the left side and sometimes to the top side and so on. Do you have any idea on why is it so?Is that how screen move feature works ? Thank you very much!
Awesome, thanks, Classy!

I have the 42 C2 and experimented with his HDR setting for film and they work just like he mentioned since I did notice the LG was making certain darker scenes a bit too bright and with that creating odd banding. I turned it off and let my Panasonic 420 with it's HDR optimizer do the tone mapping and it works like a charm just as shown here. The scenes is a bit darker and but most of the banding is gone in darker scenes.

Hello Classy Tech. I want to understand Tru motion clarity settings. I live in the UK and regular TV I believe is shown at 50/60Hz or 50/60fps. I also watch Netflix which i understand is 24fps. Can you recommend De-judder and De-blur settings in this scenario please?
for SDR FM vs ISF EXPERT? have tried both but keep switching, not sure which looks better.

My advice would be to try something like warm 30 and allow yourself a few days to get used to it. By that point I imagine, a bluish tint should be apparent after altering it to a colder tone, say, 0 as you mentioned. I personally find Warm 50 far too green, no matter how much I've used it. But I do believe the content that you watch has a bearing on this perception also. Anyway, my point is, once you've allowed yourself time with a warmer colour tone, you should be able to see the negatives of both warm and cold, and can then find yourself a happy medium. Mine was 32 for a while. I'm pretty much content with warm 40 now. Hope this helps (most likely doesn't 🤣)

It is up to you to decide but I was blown away by this TV at first but I'm finding more and more things I dislike about it. I bought the c2 48 inch model attracted to the evo panel but only the 55 inch and up screens have the increases brightness. Brightness is not an issue with normal content but dolby vision is really dark. Almost unwatchable (in a dark room) and that was one of things that attracted me to it also. LG make all oled panels (except Samsung maybe with the qd oleds) so theoretically most other oled tvs should be decent. I feel LG should not advertise the increases brightness of the evo panel for the 42 and 48 inch as I could have bought an LG CS which is very similar for cheaper or a C1 or maybe a Phillips 7/807/ Sony A80j. Skin tones look terrible at times like grey/ pale hues hence me looking at settings videos. I'm spending lots of time in menus and hardly any time watching things as there are 3 different sets of settings for SDR, Hdr and dolby vision and I want it to just work and stop faffing. For a cool £1000 it is more work than I've needed to put into a TV than I envisaged and honestly debating on sending it back if I can but I probably won't as I never send anything back. Not sure how long curry's offers returns anyway. I am grateful it introduced me to the world of HDR but its frustrating unless its the fault of Netflix/ Dolby vision being so dark. I wish I could turn it off tbh but I can't. I don't want to put you off but expectations should be managed and when the right content is being displayed it is beautiful but comes at a cost. Check out the SONY A80j, Phillips ambilight 807 reviews, Panasonic lze980 I think its called or the lze1000. Samsung offer some tvs that are supposed to be good around this price but no support for dolby vision and only hdr 10+ but from what I've seen of dolby vision it may be a blessing.
