I always enjoy your videos. However, I don’t understand why you don’t love the predator maw? It’s fierce ! I love it. I think it looks best on the LC 500, which I think you like it on as well. I also love the big snout on the new M4 Competition xDrive Convertible which I am expecting this month. I didn’t even bother looking at the 2 series as they don’t have the beaver teeff. Do you not like front ends to be aggressive or intimidating?

  • @TestDriveVideos

The predator grill looks great on the LC500, but steadily worse on everything else in the lineup. We aren’t fans of car makers forcing the same grill on everything they sell as big doesn’t work on every car. And yes, we dislike BMWs Beaver Teef direction, though we’re glad you’re excited about your M4. Meanwhile… the latest M2/ 2 series doesn’t have the Teef and manages to look far worse than prior Gen or the big grill Teef cars.

You guys are trying to make me feel better. I just got a pretty loaded 2023 F Sport and it’s “ok”….it was my first and last impulse purchase. I do not like the loud engine that is also not impressive in terms of acceleration. Given the torque, it should be much faster. My last car was a 2018 Q5 and that car is faster and handles very well and has lighter steering than the NX. The front wheel bias of the Q5 is not that perceptible whereas it is on the NX and RDX as two examples. The tech on the NX is very good, i admit. However, I really should probably be driving a GV70 3.5 (rear wheel bias) but the solace is that the Lexus should be very reliable while there is a smidge of uncertainty with the Genesis. I would probably opt for the 3.5 with the limited slip but I have heard that is an area of problems with some of the GV’s. Of course, I could also dump the NX for something else which will cost me plenty….and I may be dumb enough to do it.
