Both my Lexus are older, but the hood does "pop" on both the gx and is. The two wires are fine - looks like they just didn't bother putting any shrink wrap that close to the adapter. Your spec still looks great! The wheels are 10/10!

Thanks! Yes, I had a 2017 RX350 and the hood did pop up. Seems from other LC owners that they have the same non-popping hood experience.

So interesting, as a fellow LC owner (from across the pond), the seat belt thing annoys me too and the hood release is a weird one on me. Interestingly in the UK climate it is the corrosion that is so bad on my LC. The front wings are just in an awful mess particularly

@@RichWithCars It does, I have a meeting with Lexus UK this week to discuss. I have seen a few other UK LC's suffer from the same issue.

As for the battery, I had the same issue with it going dead because it's not my daily driver. But I installed a battery trickel charger on my battery. I don't have any issues with the battery going dead anymore after long periods of no use.

Yeah, I typically drive mine 2-3 times a week....shouldn't be doing that with that frequency...

I was glad to see after 6 years of ownership these issues were nothing major. I’ve only had to replace the 2 front tie rods which was pretty cheap on my 2018.

The B piller for the seat belt is like that. I have the same issue on my LC500 as well. If was lot like that in my RC-F. I was wondering about that myself. But to help with the slight, uncomfortable seat belt feeling, I put the fuzzy belt cover on the seat belt.

What fizzy belt? You mean a seatbelt cover?

Saw the title of the video in my recommended and was like OH NO I've been telling people to get these because they have such a proven drivetrain in them, what's wrong with them? Just for it to be the most minute nothing issues compared to for example my C6Z with valve drop issues or whatever. Nice LC btw.

No issues with the powertrain - just minor issues as you mentioned (and like I did in the video). Curious to know from other owners.... Thanks! 👍

My hood pops correctly and it's not a loud pop, but it pops.

Beautiful Lexus LC500 I have one as well but mine is a convertible and I love it I haven't had any problems or issues out of mine thanks for heads up❤❤❤

I think the hood should pop only after you pull the lever twice. It should not pop after just one pull.

Nope! That's part of the reason as to why I decided to make this video - to see how many others have the same, if they even noticed!

Considered it's made in Japan and the attention to detail supposedly paid to this car for this price point, no, none of those issues are normal.
