Thanks for the video, it's nice to see a direct comparison with the same device recording the clip, same background, etc. Both cars sound great. I have an HKS Hi-Power (axle-back), stock mid-pipe/resonator, and stock headers. I love the sound the way it is, and don't want to change it, but might consider doing the mid-pipe upgrade if it's still quiet enough. With any aftermarket headers on our cars, it sounds awful, but with the mid-pipe/resonator upgrade and a quiet axle-back like the HKS, they sound fairly good still.

If you can do it yourself, it'll cost you around 200 for the muffler and 30-50 for pipe. If you get a shop to do it it'll be around 350-500 (prices in Canadian)

Does the black one have any other exhaust mods other than the axleback? I have a HKS Hi-Power axleback and mine isn't that loud LOL also, do you have highway drone on yours?

I also only have the HKS hi-power axle back and everything else is stock, sounds pretty much the same as the black one if you’re standing where they’re standing (right behind the car while revving) I get some drone in cabin (ratings are subjective but I’d say it’s 2/10 drony-ness) but only at 2400-2900rpm, outside that it just sounds good or sometimes can’t hear it - I can tune everything out cruising highway with music since you get more road noise than exhaust

Hey! I own the black one and yes it is stock resonator, I get barely any drone whatsoever but on my friend’s non resonator IS he gets a good amount of drone

More redefine with resonator mine sounds the same .It’s a Lexus
