thesilencenator let’s be honest.. Slade is a professional. He doesn’t have time to waste playing “the good guys Vs. the bad guys”. There’s a 9/10 chance that he said no. Grade E Quality ah ya Affleck wasn’t even there choice he was the guy who threw money at the movies choice. They wanted to cast Batman young they wanted him to be in his late 20s so they could get a few movies out of him like Marvel did and he would grow into the character but mix ideas and demands forced there hands and they just threw whatever together and released it and then the director left. Along with Superman and Batman. Same shit happen with SQ. Now they have the same guy that directed the first Avengers and there funding it themselves with the money from Shazam instead of giving investors any control over the script and casting choices so I assume everyone will be new the next time around.

@@oscardelgado4130 It was good to see Deathstroke used as a boss in Arkham Origins, but the cutscenes implied that he wasn't much of a challenge for Batman, when in reality it's the othet way around. In Batman and Deathstroke's original encounters it was Deathstroke who effortlessly outmatched Batman in strength and technique. He is basically a Captain America and Winter Soldier combined.

It is my opinion. Where exactly did I said it is a fact? The experience is always subjective. May be you like this version of Lex, I, on the other hand, knowing they are trying something new with the character for the cinematic universe, it just never ticks, he's awkward and annoying. Would like to see the legion of doom and justice league fight together against the crime syndicate. FOREVER EVIL MOVIE

After watching the Snyder Cut this scene was originally supposed set up the Batfleck solo movie with Slade as the main villain. I will say despite how much I'm looking forward to the Matt Reeves movie, I would've easily traded that for a Batfleck film with Deathstroke

@@kanyerahming Rumours are that in the snyder cut Deathstroke fights Batman while breaking out Lex from jail. They go separate ways to divide the police force and they meet at a secret location.

I found out something interesting about this scene: it was gonna be in the Snyder Cut, but was gonna be somewhat different: It was gonna have Deathstroke meeting Luthor on his boat, but the topic was not gonna be about making the Legion of Doom. It was gonna be with Luthor and Deathstroke discussing what to do about Batman, with Lutnor giving Deathstroke a bit of important info on him. The scene was gonna be like this because this was around the time when Ben Affleck was gonna star in, produce, co-write, and direct The Batman, back when it was part of the DCEU and was gonna be after Justice League. However, after Affleck left the DCEU and Matt Reeves came in to do his own thing with the film as a standalone film on a young Batman, the scene was made pointless to include. So when Whedon took over Snyder's position in post-production, he decided to rework the scene into a teaser for a sequel to Justice League where they would fight the Legion of Doom. Of course that also never went anywhere, but still. The history of the production behind Justice League is so complicated and long, but pretty interesting.

Slade narrows his good eye and says "You were always the real target, Lex." Then makes a cellphone call and says "The contract has been fulfilled, sir. If you wish, I have options still open on Napier, Nygma and Cobblepot..." The scene cuts to the library at Wayne Manor. Bruce Wayne is seated in an upholstered armchair on the other end of the cellphone call. "No, I believe that will be enough for now. There is a special retainer for a future contract..." The shot pulls back through the library window to a patch of night sky a far distance away. Superman is seen floating facing Wayne Manor, hearing the faint hum of Bruce Wayne's voice as he finishes up his phone call. "but it would require extensive planning and access to specialized equipment..."

The fact that I’ve seen the Snyder cut more than Josstice League makes this seem like a parody

I'm praying they will finally portray DeathStroke accurately. Known as the best tactician in the world, like captain America on steroids, being able to use 90% of his brain and react 9x faster than normal humans are just a few things he can do that allowed him to defeat most of the justice league at once in the comics.

Man, after watching snyder cut, this scene feels so much more rushed. It's like someone was on fast forward and made a ton of abrupt cuts since they realized they're at the end of the movie.

Jesse Eisenberg as Lex kinda took me out of the movie. I just can’t take him seriously in this role.

Nope it will never happen. The DCCU is gone, now the movies are not really connected to each other, the stories are independent from one to another, most of the actors are gone and the support is less in the movies. After WW84 and maybe Shazam and/or Aquaman 2 there will be some new roads.

@@murrayfranklin8390 Again, they won't, the stories are gonna be there, but not as like BvS or JL with the heroes reunited, all are gonna be now more independent from each other. And most of the characters are not gonna apear, is impossible, even for Marvel they didn't add another vilians in his their universe, and for DC is even worse. Oh and some bad news again for DC, Birds of Pray is getting negative reviews from Warner, so they are planning to change it all, the funny thing is that the rest of the critics think that is a nice movie, so yeah, maybe another movie is going to fall for DC and for the universe, so is getting shietter than better.

Imagine if the fake Lex Luthor was actually Victor Zsasz since he was in Arkham.

THAT is why we like him cause THATS Lex Luthor. jesse eisenberg and his portrayal is the worst decision ever conceived. p.s the joker has only been this "edgy politicat figure" because of the recent movie and thats about it.

Wonder Woman 2 end credit scene: (set in modern day) the team finds cheetah. Your Injustice League folks (edit: obv this probably won’t happen, it was just my fanboy ideas running wild, WB is too busy making the trench and supergirl 🤦‍♂️)

A failure in your opinion. Not at the box office, and Snyder’s ultimate cut was a much better film. Warner Bros hacking up his movies to fit run times are the problem. You think Wheadon and his cringeworthy jokes made for a better movie? Lois - “What was it like to come back” Clark - “Itchy”...... Robert Treacy he's much a better villain for the Teen Titans then this.

I'll never forget the response in the cinema when Deathstroke was walking very slowly towards the camera, everyone started cheering very loudly and some guys in the audience were even saying "oh shit", this was such a big surprise as there was no hint or mention that Joe Manganiello was even going to be making an appearance, so to see him come out as Slade Wilson in the full Deathstroke mask and costume with the cold raspy voice was just epic. Truly the best moment of the entire movie and one of the best post credits scenes ever.

Everybody’s here hating on this movie, but I remember when I saw it. Day before Thanksgiving, 2017. I was with my extended family, people I hadn’t seen in forever, friends who I had almost forgotten about. We all loved this movie. It had humor, it had action, it was uplifting and it made sense. On a sadder note, it was also the last time that I saw my cousin before he was deployed in the Marines, so I’ll always remember seeing his face light up watching this movie. The Snyder cut kind of hurts me because this right here was the version that I really liked and enjoyed with company. If you like the Snyder cut, that’s fine. Just remember that not everyone agrees with you.

Hopefully we get to see this Deathstroke again.

Good God this scene sucks BALLS compared to the Snyder Cut Always thought that Deathstroke saying "You better not be wasting my time" was random and out of place.

Rewatching Justice League, the theatrical version which people overreact to, and the Lex Luthor meeting Deathstroke scene.. This had me hyped in the theater like 😯😍 Damn I wish a League Of Doom movie came out.
