This was my parents wedding song. Just before my dad passed away in 2020, he said, "If mountains were to crumble into the sea, there would still be you and me," to my mom as we sat there on either side holding his hands. I love this song. Always have, always will. Peace and love.

I grew up in the late eighties,an nineties.but I can tell clearly, that 60s-80s rocka and heavy metal was the best examples of the genres, and is untouchable, can never be replicated.Artists from the nineties up to the present day, cannot hold a candle to those from that period

@@Rowlph8888 Lex is the Woman!!! Her observations often strike me as being like descriptions I've heard of LSD trips (never done it myself), where the boundaries between visual and auditory senses are obliterated, and it just doesn't matter whether a metaphor is grounded in reality or not, but whether or not it makes emotional sense. I can't count how many times she's made me laugh at some comparison that seemed at first bizarre and off the wall, then thought to myself how it made sense after she got done explaining it.

Led Zeppelin is famous for so many things, a lot of it loud and wild, what almost gets lost is their talent for real beauty on the toned-down stuff too, like this song. This one, which is a love song to a partner, somehow seems to fit well with All My Love, a love song to a child that they created near the end of the band. I hope you all will listen to that latter song, All My Love, someday.

Soooo glad you reacted to this! Hardly anybody does. Such a great song and always reminds me of my Aunt and Uncle's wedding in the late 80's, as this was their first dance (Uncle is a huge Zep fan) and first time I ever heard the song. My Aunt since passed on, due to MS, so it has even more meaning. Plus, I genuinely love the song!

I can’t express how much she has done for my life, but this song always touches those feelings of gratitude and love.
