Only reason Guirassy isn't on top is he had to miss a few games due to injury and literally scored on his return. Stuttgart struggled to win when Guirassy was injured too.

I could see it happening. But I'm curious how many games Lewandowski missed late season when he was injured? Was definitely at least 2.

We can't ignore that Robert Lewandowski played 29 games.

When he was giving German’s Bundesliga a series of great performances we weren’t seeing videos literally everyday about how he was going to surpass Gerd but now is like they are rooting for Kane, which is fine but let’s give it a rest and see if he’ll finish the season as strong as he’s started.

Bingo. Lewandowski is the greatest striker in the history of the league imo. Had he not left for Barcelona and stayed an extra 2-3 seasons he would also have the BL all-time goals record. As it stands he is currently 2nd. Gerd Muller also played more seasons in the BL than Lewy. Lewy has almost all the major goal records in BL. Most goals in a season, 2nd most goals all-time, I believe he is tied for the most golden boots with Muller, 5 goals in 9 minutes, etc. He was the standout striker and likely the best player in the league for an entire decade. He also has 10 BL titles including 2 with Dortmund which is the last time a team outside of Bayern has won. He won 2 Fifa best Player awards, robbed twice for Ballon D'or, and in one year he scored 69 goals which is tied CR7's best ever output. Not to mention he's also 3rd all-time in UCL goals. Now 10 games into Kane's career they are already disrespecting Lewandowski. Even IF Kane goes on to beat his record for goals in a season it doesn't diminish what Lewandowski did. At the time Lewandowski's was shattering records left and right. He was the standard. And he also achieved the single season record of 41 goals despite missing 5 matches. You can bet your money if he played those 5 matches he would have AT LEAST 3 more goals to his name. And more realistically it would have been another 5-6 considering his goals per game average. Maybe even more. It's a shame because if he did play those matches the record would not only have been beaten, but shattered by a decent margin. And it would have made catching that record almost impossible. As it stands, it's much more doable. But even then Kane will have to stay relatively healthy and keep up his form for the rest of the season. Which isn't guaranteed by any stretch. Anyways, they're both great strikers. Both generational. But you are right, when Lewandowski was on pace to beat the record they weren't releasing daily videos about it. And especially not 10 games into the season. They probably wanted to preserve Muller's record because he is German. Now that a non German has the record they don't care about preserving the legacy.

The only difference is that he has equaled the amount of goals lewandoski scored in his debut season (17). We are yet to see what he can do, we aren’t half way through the season yet. But it is very impressive that he has scored all these goals in fewer matches played.

Lewandowski will eventually understand how good he had it at Bayern.

Kane excels at both link-up, assists and strikes with either foot and heads well. Hard to say who is better his contribution is all round as well as contributing goals. I think he makes the fast player in attack around him work better in what their strengths are as a result.

This clown thinks if Kane beats Lewy record that is proof that Lewy sucked or something....When in reality he still put up the most prolific season in the entire history of the BL, and did so while missing 5 matches. Nobody in the entire decades of the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s or 2010s reached Lewy's output of 41. But suddenly now because another guy might break this prestigious record, it somehow nullifies what Lewy did? LOOOOOL Imagine being this much of a brain damaged hater troll. And that's just the single season record. Lewy is also 2nd in the all-time BL goals list. Which he easily could have broken had he stayed another 2-3 years. 5 goals in 9 minutes.
