Problem is, there's a certain country using a massive online army to misuse this downvote function everywhere, just to sway public opinions worldwide in other countries...lol. This is why în România we have an expression: You give one cent but you stay ahead,that is mean you buy an expensive product like Samsung,Rowenta,Phillips,Electrolux but you can expect to get quality

That sounds like a filter with a plastic bad on it

Never had issues with mine, it’s been working great for almost a year now

I came to the comments to say you must have a defective one, because I've been looking into this model before I purchase it today and it seems to be a pretty solid unit. But it looks like it is merely a severe user error 😂 If you won't take any advice in life, at least take this: Always read installation/operating manuals! I don't care if it's for a blender, for a ceiling fan, or for a car. Unless you are literally an expert in everything, odds are you will learn at least one new thing if you crack open the pamphlet. If you don't have one to an old device, odds are you can search by brand and model and find the PDF on one of the websites that keeps a database of manuals.

Good air purifier. Nothing wrong with mine. Genuine product .

It sounds like coil whine, which is common on any motor. Even blower motors tend to do this over time or there was a bushing that went bad. Just because you got a lemon motor doesn't mean their all junk my guy. Just get it warrantied out no big deal.

Did you remove the plastic of the filter before you turned it on? I got one and doesn’t make that noise. Still testing it.

just got one of this and working great , may be that is defective , great difference and air so clean and fresh , i have cats so you can imagine

Reminds me of the airfryer lady who left plastic things inside the airfryer and complained that the cheap air fryer stank when used.

I have 3 of them and all works perfectly! Maybe you did a mistake on filter replacement.. I recommend this brand cause its 1 of the best.

@@Silakos112 the store recommended 6-8 months, but that's still shorter than I expected. That's what pissed me off. Philips filter can last 12 months but it's not true HEPA filter, just normal HEPA...

@@chainjail4834 i have also a winix air cleaner with plasmawave, trust me levoit filters are far better than Philips or winix! But lasts less. The results are excellent! I bought air sensor. I tested both. Levoit for the win.

@@Silakos112 huh ok then... Maybe I'll consider levoit 400, oh well... It's a gift for my mom, she has allergic to pet hair. But there's 6 cats in our house lol and sometimes 3-4 went in her rooms. She kinda skeptical at first with air purifier in general, she thinks it's use almost nonexistent. I also think that too. But after looking at some reviews, these think can suck a WHOLE smoke! That's when I knew these things are real and I NEED to get one for my mom. Sometimes when she cooked in the kitchen, it's like there's fire in the house. Then she told me that her friends got into coma because she cooked with the kitchen full of smoke...
