I'm not gonna lie, the song that Dua sang for the Barbie movie is kinda just a remake of levitating. The instruments make it sound REALLY similar and even the melody isn't far off. I still really like it, it's a summer vibe and fits both the barbie aesthetic and Dua's!

It fits the Barbie movie really well and as the masup demonstrates it's stylistically 'reminiscent' of levitating but for me love th Future Nostalgia album and it took me a few listen to warm up to dance the night away because it is a little different - almost like "nostalgia for what I wish the later 2010's sounded more, like"

The chords progression of the instrumentals, rhythm and singing technique are quite similar in my opinion. However I still like the song too, I think this esthetic suits her so much

I'm a retired club DJ. I love mashups like this! But at 71 no one wants an old lady DJ and as for being a mobile DJ if I could "Levitate" the equipment, that would be a game changer. Great job!

I used to go to a yearly Christmas party for your average Jo like me. One of the highlights was the 80 year old female DJ.
