Thanks for the review. I just bought my first pair of Levi’s, I bought the 501 shorts and love them so I have been wanting a good review on their jeans. I agree I like the Abercrombie jeans better. But I do like Levi’s shorts better because I can’t find any Abercrombie shorts that don’t flare out right below the butt, that trend just doesn’t look flattering on me at all and it’s like all they sell now.

Thank you for the video. It's a shame Rose, you didn't dig those Levi's Jeans. I stubbled over your video while searching for what Levi's are doing to celebrate it's 150 of the 501 on May 20th '23 Although I did find your footage quite amusing and entertaining when you gave the big sad faces over your disappointment for each pairs fit! Except maybe one. In response. I would like to see you rock a men's Selvidge classic 501 & see if that works. I only really wear Levi's Jeans, shirts and Jackets , but do have Wrangler & Denim Lee shirts and Denim Jackets. I guess I really like classic American vintage denim which kind of goes hand in hand with the music I write & perform. Anyway all the best Steve

I was definitely glad I tried them too… I’m just sticking with the wedgie skinnys myself. What did you think about the second pair? I didn’t hate them - they actually stretched but with all my Abercrombie jeans idk if I would wear them.

The second pair looked nice but like you said, your Abercrombies just fit better...and so I would say return them! (I feel bad that you will have so many to return!😣)

Hi, I love Levi’s 501’s but sizing was a nightmare. However, the 99% cotton/1% elastane 501’s are so so good. You should try them x

Legit, I have exactly the same issues with all of these jeans and my corresponding body type- big in the waist, tighter in the butt and thighs. The older Wedgies are slightly better. However, I would absolutely agree that Abercrmobie Jeans are superior to Levis. Abercrombie's rebranding is a total smash and I love it! Such an thorough and honest video! Thank you =)

I agree!! I’ve tried so hard to like Levi jeans and only my wedgies from 3 years ago are ok (yet I never wear them anymore)! Abercrombie is just killing it!!

I am also very anxious for American Eagle to come out with more high waisted wide leg jeans and more straight boyfriend jeans (in more waist choices...right now I believe they only have the highest rise waist...which is just too high!) I also noticed that most of Abercrombie's jeans are Super High waisted and they do not tell us in the description the actual measurement ofthe rise! American Eagle has High Super High and Highest...and they tell the measurement of the different rises! The AE Super High is my favorite rise...it fits right above my hip bone/pelvic bone? so they always stay up perfectly! Have you noticed that also?

I guess Abercrombie only gives inseam measurements. I’m honestly ok with anything that’s high rise lol. But I think the really high ones could not work for people with shorter torsos. I seem to do ok with them

Yes, you look as though you have a longer torso...I have a short to medium torso! I could probably wear the highest rise but I know that there would be bunching and poufing in front and sagging on the butt!!!😹

Levi's didn't work for me either 😕 the only jeans that are working for me right now are Abercrombie, AE & Free Assembly from Walmart

Watched this to see how the wedgie icon jeans fits then afterwards checked on your A&F 90's jeans video after you mentioned how much you love the latter. It's surprising how I adore the Levi's more on you and despise the A&F's. At least, the silhouette of Levi's looks sophisticated & well-constructed whereas the A&F looks odd and cheap imo.

I’ve never liked Levi jeans, because of the gap in back of the waist area. And they’re too stiff, thick material. But that’s just me. Hahaha, you trying to button that one pair of jeans, really made me laugh! That’s me with my regular jeans now after the pandemic! 🙄 Weather is getting nicer, so I’m back to walking more. Wish they made cookies non fattening! 😂

I thought this too for years but some washes with 1% elastane really fit nicely and has me on a quest to find the perfect Levi's. I really like the wedgies straight with 1% elastane and the 501 with 1% elastane. They look like rigid denim but with stretch.
