Awesome review Jeremiah!! I will admit, as much as I love these jeans, they a hit and miss with some boots. They don't work with my Double Hs, but with my Dan Posts, Boulets, Lucchese's and Tony Lamas, they are amazing! Well done sir!

Great vid, as always👍 Jeremiah, here's some idea, could you make a jeans video about iron starch creases? These creases became such a discovery for me lately! I've had wrangler 13mwz model wich i never liked so much, cause despite perfect waist sitting, the jeans were to baggy at the hips (something like a railway hobbo would wear at great depression period). But yesterday i ironed front and back creases and now these wranglers looks incredible, they sport unique combo of ruggedness and dressiness in a sorta way.

I own 511’s and they are definitely best worn with my converse with it’s tapered legs. I wear my straight fits or boot cuts with my boots.

Those Levi's 511 and other Slim Fit Jeans does tend to show the shaft of the boots that's why I don't wear them with cowboy boots. I'll always go for Bootcut Jeans because it always looks very classy with it and it covers the shaft but hey I love the 511's I would definitely wear them with sneakers or Chelsea's. Hopefully I get to see you try the Buckle's BKE Aiden Slim Bootcut Jean I love there jeans even BKE Fulton I gotta get myself the Rock Revival to.

The golden pair for me are the Levi’s 527 which love super classy nd old school with boots especially some r toes

The black leather cowboy boots goes well with anything, man! Black goes well with other colors... It deserves a checkmark!!!!!

I wear snip toe and slim leather pants on the daily. I like the way the shaft of the boot fits. Not too tight but not loose either. With jeans, I too like a slim jean where the shaft shows. I think it looks great imo

I typically wear 511’s and they work great with my work boots but not with my Dan Posts. Just about all my pairs you can see the outline of the boot. I recommend 541’s cause they’re a little wider around the calves but not too lose on the bottom.

They might work with my older ones--Tony Lama and Lucchese but not with my newer exotic skin boots. Btw, I've stopped wearing zippered boots a long time ago!

You should do the 514s sometime, I like them. Think they are basically a 501 with a lower waist and no button fly.

511 and tecova Zane works good just got them in black 🤠

With my Justins, the shaft showing through isn’t really a problem. Just like with your BNVs, you can sort of see it but it’s not in your face.

502s are the best.

Personally I think that Levi’s 511 work on certain body types more than others, especially on some boots, also I think Levi’s 514 straight fit, and the 559 relaxed straight would surprise you, they have a nice amount of room for me and look great with boots

I checked these jeans but didn't buy because I didn't like the colors they had in the shop. I will be receiving a pair I ordered online in a few days. I tried a few pairs in the shop to see how they fit and I liked them. I wore sneakers in the shop though. I am however 174 cm tall, which is something like 5,7 feet and my size is W36 L32. My boot size is 8,5 D so I assume the shaft is also narrower than on your boots. So in my case I would have wider jeans with narrower boot shafts.

You should try the cinch silver label jeans

Personally I like these slims for Short Boots like a Roper or Zippers.

511 fits perfectly well with 6inch tims

I like the grey but those jeans are definitely a hit or miss with the boots.

I’ve worn skinny jeans for majority of my life, just got into boots this year and have 2 pairs of Noconas. Got the 511 to slowly transition over to wider jeans because I don’t really like how they look on me lol. Good transitional jeans but will probably eventually go wider. Love your content!

if you want slimmer i'd recommend a Wrangler slim cowboy cut, they are wide enough to go over most boots but still kinda slim through the thighs.

@@papaperc8533 the wrangler retro slim straights are perfect honestly. Slim enough look without showing shaft. And that’s coming from someone that didn’t really like the look of the Levi 501 on me. Way better than the 511 also.

I thrifted that some shirt about a year ago in CO 😂

My old original 511 with different material blend seemed a bit wider in the calf area and worked with more of my Cowboy boots. The newer ones like yours just seemed much tighter ...more like their skinny jeans. On the plus side...the 511 fits really great around my skinny butt and skinny thighs. Lol

The think the 501's are also now a bit slimmer.

I was reading that the 513 are better for boots cause they open up about an inch more.

I like look of those JC. But I'm not a thin guy, so I can't wear them. Levi's grey always looks great. 👍

I wear 511's but not with cowboy or even short zippered boots. My cowboy boots go with pants that have leg openings of around 16.25 inches. It's between straight cut and boot cut.

I hate the shaft showing so i cinch them with stretchy velcro straps and looks great with any jean

Yeah, like you say, 511s are not going to work with all boots, really need a narrow shaft. I recently discovered 512s while spending a few hours at the levis store. The legs are really narrow and tuck inside my boots nicely without bunching up, etc. I would wear 510s, but the old "dad bod" just isn't up to that challenge.

I wear 5'11s all the time. I have a few bootcuts but i just like the way the 5'11s look.

Not many jeans you make videos about work at alll with BOOTS. They would go well with your woman's high heels though. I came for just the boots..I love the boots. 👍

I can’t do 511s with cowboy boots, too small of a leg opening, Levi’s 513s slim straight are much better, too bad they discontinued them. Goodfellow slim straight works well also, similar to 513 with the larger straight leg opening, but slimmer through the thigh.

Exactly what he said! I have one pair of 511s (black) that work with certain boots and one pair of 511 (dark gray) that are way too tight. But the sweet spot is the Levis 513 or the Goodfellow slim. Have 3-4 of each and wear regularly with boots. Also found Duluth foreman slim kackis work well too for business casual

Levi's I always have problems with. They are not very derable and had many split down the crotch. Flex may help though. If y'all want fool proof jeans just buy wrangler pro rodeo jeans. Best jean on the market last for years and made for work not to mention they look so dang good.

I'm not a huge fan of that look, id prefer my jeans to cover the counter and stop right on the heel or spur shelf, so for that reason I'll stick to my cowboy cuts and slim straights from wrangler.
