Exactly my thoughts as well! Vast majority of mine and friends significant crashes have happened in parks or just overall higher risk situations. But hey, some people love the rush, each to his own. I’d rather bike xc all my life in nature than get sidelined with a major injury going big in a park for months.

I think its because he is just more risk adverse than most others. Seeing as he does not have the "Just send it" mentality. That can be a good thing, as you said, it keeps you from killing yourself by taking chances.

And I don't do well trying to watch videos and then learning because I need that immediate feedback like what he's giving you. Very cool. While I'd probably benefit from a Ride Series clinic, I'd really like to have Rain get in one and document her progress.

I can’t remember being so excited to see this (you doing a jump clinic)! Great vid! Drew reminds me of a Mathew McConaughey of mtn. Keep hitting Brian, you’re a beast! Alright

Firstly congrats on improving. Seeing you at the start I never realized how bad you actually were at jumping. Clearly, 80% was a mental block, keep at it man you are looking way better! Love it brother

Awesome stuff man! I'm glad to see you starting to push through that mental barrier. I am currently working on the same thing and trying to get into jumping without feeling like I am falling from a 100 ft cliff into a pool of lava type of fear lol!

The preload is everything! A local junior high kid named Riley worked with me for like an hour and a half at the bottom of All-American when I was in Bentonville and he helped me get a good preload and good pop at the lip. it made all the difference in the world!
