I love the idea of them just having a goal and their like “Alright…. Boss says we have to collect materials from this area and I… I… smell food… *spots a herd of aptanoth* GET EM BOYS!” Then just six deviljhos charging at bunch of herbivores.

It would actually be really cool if monsties got bigger as they levelled up

As a heads up the barrel felyne can be defeated instantly with a barrel bomb. Throwing knives run the risk of them running away

There are actually *big* barrel felynes that give you 12k XP instead of 1k. I don't know how rare they are, because I didn't hunt for them, but I did found one on the highest mountain in Hakolo (there is also a save point)

I have been hunting for mega barrel felynes. I found 3 so far. There is a route in the first floor of elder´s lair 1 that has a good spot, but it´s unreliable and spawns around 1 every 20/30 times. Look up tutorials, they give at really nice xp and with a 22% xp boost got my bloodbath from 1 to 55 instantly. You´re opinion on whether or not to pursue them like I do sometimes. Hope that helps :))

The charm effects and prayer effects from the prayer pot don't stack if they are of the same type. So you shouldn't use the training prayer if you're already using a training charm. Great video otherwise!

A random tip I did after beating the game and realizing high rank monster hit harder. Do the trial quest that has you defeat a Rathian, Rathalos, and Tigrex. In addition to getting all of their materials on quest completion you get over 15k exp plus another 3k for the objectives page. Just repeat it to your hearts content. It's a got way to make and upgrade those Tigrex weapons for High rank. The only other thing is that you will need Bulldrome parts for them as well.

Wait, a throwing knife beats barrel cats? I've been wasting freaking barrel bombs on them because I thought they just had insane defense and barrels bomb bypass that

Using a explosive barrel is the safe option especially against the higher end big and especially mega barrel otherwise there is a fair chance of them running away

When I send out 6 level 50 teostras I feel bad for the bulldrome or aptonoth that get eaten alive by them

Gaining XP seems to be really slow after LV 65 or so. Wish someone could do a video about how to quickly level up my character to LV 99. Hint hint.

I had just got an astalos and brachydios when I did the nergigante story hunt and because it was their first hunts, they both shot up to level 30 instantly

the good thing about doing expaditions when in main game is that if your leveling up your team you have to sub them with trash but you have ratha so your goooooooood

I'm stuck at the 67-70 level range for both me and my monsters, I can't find a good way to farm XP and reg elders layer is very minimal XP gain, any tips? I can't access special elders cus I'm only level 67 with level 70 monsties

I think once your Rider's level is in the low to mid 70s, you can Quick Finish the Velocidromes, Bulldromes, Pukeis and even Rathalos on that floor.

Can you guys do a guide about genes? Like the best ones for each element for maximum damage( class cannon style build), tankiest build, best use of the uniqueness of the monstie and this kinda stuff?❤

Fyi Prayer Pot doesn't effect quest EXP. And the charm buff doesn't seem to stack with the Prayer Buff.

Atm I can't get past floor 7 of the special elders lair because of a certain sword tail trex's tankyness.

how about doing HR coop quests and your level 1 monsties getting really instantly 40+ levels after each quest? thats much better

I've been waiting for this one, also btw anyone else struggling with the final boss I've tried a bunch and i cant kill it.the farthest I've got is the last phase but I couldnt pull through. Edit:I've beat it now thanks to all your guys tips, thanks a bunch

The boss which I will not name for spoilers is a tough boss the first phase it’s weak to dragon so get nergigante weapons if your underleveled try to train up in guardian ratha den I beat him on my first try but I would believe that’s where you get the most exp at that point in the game Kyle is great for this one if you can’t follow the bosses patterns you should catch after one head to head and since Kyle is a hunter you can have double attacks with him too once the boss uses the leave you on 1 hp attack heal right away and when charging it’s ultimate attack lay waste to his wings sorry if this doesn’t help but this was my strategy

What was that xp number? 28999 or something? Odd, I never see above 6k on the same group...and that is with a max level pot and training charms.

u can get by zone 6 special elder lair when u are lv 85 u can quick finish all monsters there a full route takes 6 min and u get 1,781,650 exp

massive pain currently to get to lvl 99 reeee i refuse to clear elders den til im atleast lvl 80 im hoping next title update quest will be worth tons of exp that would be really nice

What if it glitched on u and ur stuck on lair five and u already gathered the 9 notes 😑it won’t let me pass

I think endgame is anything you can complete by the end like grinding eggs and genes but post game can only be accessed after beating the game like elder lair and some eggs

@@amykelly9645 Technically you should have Nergigante, but I think at this point you've finished the WHOLE game

charms and prayers don't stack , only the stronger one applies so don't try double dipping because it's less effective

Exp charm only works on battle.

Why blur the monsties?

find the seltas queen where you fought the rage rayed version (hot springs pit). it will summon one during the fight

each partner you had during the story is where you met them (kayna at the 1st stables for example) and then you can talk to them to recruit

Just curious what the point of blurring out the monster list when you're using the BB Diablos GS, riding Glavenous, showed multiple end game monsters including Bazel/Jho and Kirin in the left panel?! It's the thought that counts I suppose.
